This is going to be fun. I love to take my laptop up in the sewing room, play something from the media theater, and have a sew day with El. Even if we are making different things, I learn little tidbits and have great company. I may just have to add to my QIAD library. I should have done the first ladies blocks this last year. Pam

Donna, go ahead and pick blocks for this one..I need 5 more to choose some for me...I think Karon is choosing also, just waiting to hear back from her..it is a busy time for everyone so we still have a couple of weeks yet to wrap this one up..thanks, and remember not to use the books that are posted..they have been selected all ready...

Still need 5 more folks to choose blocks for this one..any one interested? otherwise some folks may be choosing twice...LOL Pm me a message with the name of any of El's books that are not on the list and with the block chosen from that book, also a block from quilters cache..make sure they are 12 inch blocks please.. The only book I don't have is It's "El"ementary, and I can get that at Hobby Lobby - I saw it there!!! LOL!!!

I chose it because Eleanor will be inducted into the Quilter's Hall Fame this summer in Marie Webster's house in Marion, IN.

I am using Eleanor's Victory Garden fabrics from my stash.

I changed the color combination because I want to float the blocks on the white fabric and wanted white around the edges of the block.

April, You are on the ball!! What great pictures and to post them so quickly!! That should help motivate everyone here..

I have made a sampler out of Victory Line fabrics and you are going to love the look of this sampler quilt!!

Great job and beautiful color choices!
