Quilt in a Day Forums

What are some good ideas when making a set of table runners as well as place mats? I'm going to make myself a set of placemats..but I'm not sure what they are like to make...any suggestions?

El's Lover's Knot makes a beautiful table runner & placemats. Matter of fact, you can take nearly any of her patterns and just make enough for a Runner. You can make a block and use borders until you get the sz you need for placemats.
