I used to be terrified of binding, but Eleanor on her videos does such an excellent job in showing you how to do it, that in no time at all, I was binding quilts like crazy. Now I no longer am intimidated by it.

MaryZ---great suggestion for making little candle mats to practice bindings. I think I will do potholders as gifts and try hand sewing the binding instead of machine stitching to practice. I usually machine stitch the bindings of potholders since they get washed so much but this is incentive!

Anyone know the name of the video? I always have a problem with binding no matter how I do it. Thanks for all the suggestions to help with this problem. I need all the help I can get. Hugs, Shirley Mae

Edited by me..........
A Few MInutes Later------I found it. It is called, are you ready for this???????? Binding Demonstration. Duh!!!!!What else would it be called? LOL I don't remember even seeing that out there before. Has it been on there long??? Guess I just missed it. And they say a picture is worth a thousand words. LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!

Thanks Eleanor for a super demo that I can understand. Now I am off to do some binding. I clicked on Television & Video and there it was waiting for me to watch. It is magic or a miracle or something like that. An answer to a prayer.

Thank you everyone. Hugs again, Shirley Mae
