I think that is very pretty fabric. Looks like fall colors to me. But then I see things in fabric and the world that lots of other people overlook. My DD thinks fabric like this is just too busy. It can be toned down with other colors to offset it.
Kittyquilt-have fun with this fabric. It has lots of possibilites. And remember, one man's trash is another's treasure.
Knitnoid, those ugly contests sound like fun. Happy quilting. Glad you have a friend to share fabric and ideas with. .
Hugs, Shirley Mae

I think it would make a great lining for a bag or tote. The color would add lots of interest to something pieced in autumn colors. It could also be used as a lining for a fall jacket.

I learned in a class on color - that fabric might turn out very pretty in the right block - try it you might like it!

OOOO! I was too late. I am one of the ones who likes the fabric. I can see it as table scarfs and as a lightweight jacket.
Carol have fun with it.

I have the fabric, forgot to post here, but did let knitnoid know I got it. I am seriously considering making my self a wrap-around skirt from it. It will have some left over, so I'll see how much and probably make some shopping bags--how's that, I'll have a skirt to match my shopping bags.............hugs, carol/kittyquilt

Cutting the designs longways into a strip would make a very interesting border.

This fabric looks very "retro" to me-- very much back in style! When I see fabrics like this, the first thing that I think of is what a neat "stack 'n' whack" quilt it would make. It's always amazing how those turn out-- I've got 2 fabrics waiting in the wings for this technique!
