Re: Well, 1/2 a year left...
I hve 3 quilts to put the binding on.Two are full size Christmas ones, and one is Superman, a twin size extra long quilt. Our vacation starts in a couple of weeks-and with all of the Dr's appointments I haven't been sewing much lately.
Donnacrazylady, I feel for you!I was the Program director for Cub Scout camp for a week and we had 250 cub scouts. The lat two weeks before it seemed we lived on colas and aspirin. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work!! I left about the time they decided to pay the volunteers who were doing it!!

Re: Well, 1/2 a year left...
Each day it seems like I haven't gotten much quilting done, but when I look at my list, I see the things I've been working on but are not 'done' yet. Sure seems like this month is flying by! I didn't have it on my list the first of the month, but my oldest great-granddaughter (she's 8) called last week and asked if I'd make a quilt for her half-brother who was born last October. I had made one when her half-sister was born and just plumb forgot about this one. oh well....it's ready for the second border now.

Re: Well, 1/2 a year left...
DH asked me today if I was ever going to finish my nephew's quilt. He's noticed I haven't worked on it in a week -- actually, it's been two weeks. I think I burned myself out doing so my handquilting all at once. Then he said, 'but I thought you needed it finished by the end of the month.' What can I say? I found another UFO which out of the blue I decided to finish. I've got 5 more stars to machine quilt around and then put the binding on. Then a UFO started in the early 90s will be finished.

Well, as we wind down another month(already!), it seems that progress is being made for some, not me, as much. Hopefully, everyone is doing well.

Even though the month of June was spend at Zion Hospital, I think I still got a lot accomplished.
Last 2 of the PFTH went of to the quilter.
PCP babe blanket with Minkee backing, is halfway done machine quilting.
I added one more UFO to Sarahs Noodle swap.
Thursday or Wednesday Jeff might bring me back to another class at QIAD when I some times seem to get the most projects done.
I don't have computer access there is actually why.
My total sewing/quilting space here at home is 20' by 12'
So I DO have the room for it to do any kind of sewing/quilting
I have to finnish my 'hopefull' signature quilts ready to show to Eleanor Burns, Orion Burns and Sue Beauchard. Just thinking about this top make me sweat bullets. Pray for having courage for me to present to the QIAD officers my 'hopeful' signature pattern.
I also have a QOV put down on the 'the do' list.
Man, the older you get, the more you scramble for plenty of hours in a day.
