Okay, I need help, please. I was going to order some of the Essential thread but I can't find the free shipping code. I have found the free shipping for orders of $50 or more.

Thanks you (oops...meant Thank you)

I just called Connecting Threads and you do not have to do anything to get the free shipping on online orders. It automatically does it for you. It is free shipping on Online Orders only though. Hope this helps.

Thank you, Cathy. I will be ordering a little thread...like I need to purchase something else.(NOT)

My husband told me the other day that it was good the storm did not get our attic or there would have been a really large patchwork of fabric for a hundred miles...husbands should not decide to be comics!

LOL You tell your Sweet DH to not even joke about your fabric like that. LOL That would have been the ultimate disaster to a quilter! LOL And you are welcome and I just might go order a few cones of thread just for the heck of it too. Got to help the economy don't we? LOL

That's great if they are doing the free shipping automatically. But just in case, you cannot get to the code by starting out at the home page. you need to type into your browser: www.connectingthreads.com/freeship. Then you should see the code.

According to my read, it only lasts until 6/15/09. After that free shipping goes back to over $50.00.

Ok, I just got off the phome with them and you DO have to order $50 to get free shipping, Amie

Then I go back and Google what Kitty said and there it is. You have to type in "FPSHIP" code in when you order. Apparently it's a promotion the Fons and Porter has going on with connecting Threads.

The lady I spoke to even offered to waive the free shipping for me this morning if I wanted to place my order on the phone with her at that time. I explained that I was calling to find out where to find the code for online ordering and she said it did it for you automatically and no limit on the amt of your order was necessary. Soooo is it free shipping on all orders or not? Now I am confused. LOL I got busy with my sick DGS & didn't place an order this morning. Of course me being confused is becoming a natural state anymore. LOL
