Meq & Vicky I will be praying for you gals today. I feel for you all in the cold blast! We are to get a minor dose of it but nothing compared to what you guys deal with. Brrrrr If it is going to be cold here, I do wish we would get just 1 good snow. We need some moisture so very badly! So badly. And our poor trees....they are all budding out thinking it is Spring!

Yep, I believe QIAD Linda said that the BOM meets on a Tuesday and we should get to see it on the Theatre on the following Friday. Have to go look at her post. I am so thrilled that El made this possible for everyone interested. So excited!!!!! She is just the very BEST.

Well got to get going. Check back later. Hope you all have a great day doing whatever you do today & just try to be thankful for this day.

Hugs

Morning will try to finish the baby quilt today...My DGB is still in the hospital....not doing great they say....worried about RSV.. which is very bad....they have her on an apnea monitor again...but they say her lung collapse is improving. Please keep praying for her....I have noticed soooo many answered prayers here and I pray this will be another one. My DDIL said that in spite of all her distress she still smiles when she sees her Mom and Dad. BBL

You all can come see me. It's going to be around 80 today but windy. Tomorrow drop to 78. LOL
I'm going to go outside & clean the yard. havent had time to weed or mow for awhile. Then come in later & work on pillowcases.
Why does work always get in the way of quilting

Havea wonderful day

We got about an inch of snow overnight here, better than nothing, I guess, lol. I know, I should be careful what I wish for, but like it when it covers everything on the ground, for a little while anyway. Oh well, winter is not over yet, right!

Just called to change our newspaper to Sunday only, don't really read it much on a daily basis anyway & all the adds & coupons come on Sunday, so will try that for now. They have website, supposedly, to do everything on now, but of course, not that, so ended up having to call anyway, ugh! Oh well, did find out I can pay for it online now too, so that will be nice! We worry about putting checks out in our mailbox, for mailman to pick up here, so I do this whenever I can...

Hoping to quilt today, grocery shopped yesterday & other stuff, so never made it in my studio. Going to put a load of towels in the washer, then head that way.

Cold here now, but at least the sun is out, so that sure helps. Hope everyone has a nice day!

Nancy....

Sandy, it's NEVER "too early" to sit down to sew! I think I once started a Sew-In at around four in the morning...

For some reason, I tend to be most creative and clear-headed very early in the day, so for me to be up and puttering around with fabric before sunrise is the norm.

No real time to sew today...it's our homeschool park day, so we'll be heading out to play with our friends this afternoon. I need to make a phone call or two to determine what's up for this morning.

And yes, we are having a spell of especially beautiful weather here in San Diego...wish y'all could come on out and enjoy it with us! Shall we post photos, or would that be too much?

I have a couple of minutes before my classroom explodes with 2 little 4 year olds! It is hot here I just talked to my daughter at school in Boston and she said it was 19 degrees there brrrrr. I keep telling her she needs to looks at Stanford and not George Washington or Harvard for Law School. The Bay Area is warmer then the East Coast :)

My friend Betsy can't go to the Road to CA with me so I will be there on Sat to see everyone :)

oh here come the little girls time to go "play" with my puppets and practice talking in full sentences :)
