Yeah, Maryq, I thought you had bailed on working weekends? Did you volunteer to fill in? I worked an extra shift on Thursday, was really kicking myself come late Wednesday...what was I thinking?!

Gosh, nothing like a little PRESSURE to start my day.....LOL!

Can't start the washer, no one else is up yet and I want to let the Grouchy Butts get all the sleep they need! Honestly, even the poor dog is stressed out these days!

Mcmema - you are a funny lady. Boy, do I hear y'all about it being a long week. So today my BFF is coming over to finish quilting her quilt. I'm going to my sewing room to fix a bottom for the inside of the tote I finished last night, finish piecing the backing for my Christmas quilt, make a few breast quilt French Rose blocks. Might have to run to Hobby Lobby for Kona cotton for the blocks. So before my BFF gets here I think I'll have some shredded wheat and watch an El show that I DVR'd. Talk to y'll later. WOO HOO - two weeks from today I'll be at the quilt show!!!!! Can't wait. Have I mentioned that before? ROFLOL

Yes, I volunteered to work today for another gal that is sick.... If I hadn't the pharmacist that I'm working with would have No one to help him out. The extra dough will come in handy with Christmas coming. I only have to work til 4 or so.... so I might be able to get a few things done when I get home.

I haven't sewn anything for so long, I'm going through withdrawls and I hate to see my sewing machine collecting dust!!!

It's so beautiful in MN this morning, the leaves are beautiful, even the ones I have to get raked up!!

Hope everybody has a great day

Good Morning ladies. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today doing whatever you get to do. I am going to head to the sewing room for just a little bit then going down to my parents. My Dad has a blood clot in his lower leg & I want to make sure there is nothing that needs to be done outside or I can just see him out there instead of inside with it elevated like he's supposed to have it! He is so bullheaded I could just scream! Have a great day everyone.

Jennie you just amaze me with all of your energy! So you are moving? Will you be living alone?

Ann I remember being a taxi to 4 kids and like Jennie I had to have a chart so I'd know when to take and go get who. LOL

Bev I do not enjoy grocery shopping, so I don't envy you hon. I don't like shopping for anything really.LOL Told you I was a plain person & boy I am!!! Hope you get to sew sometime today.

Sharon enjoy the manicure. I'd take a nap! LOL Were you making quilts in your thoughts or just couldn't sleep? How is Moose?

CaroleJ how is it coming along out at your property? Your quilt sounds like it will a lot of fun. I say go for it!

Debbie you are a whiz at quilting to get a King done that quick! I know you are sa that all of the kids can't be there today. You will be so busy, you will enjoy the one's that could come though. Take pics! Did ya'll end up getting a lot of rain this past week?

Maryq I hope you have an easy day and will feel like sewing when you get home this evening. Maybe tomorrow for sure. What are you sewing on now?

Hugs

PS. Cindyg you came in while I was typing. You behave yourself today. You & Vicky have a ball today. I hope ya don't have thread breaking issues today! Just talk nicely to your machine and pat on her, tell her how beautiful she performs for you & maybe she'll not act up! Otherwise give her a cussin'! LOL

Everyone is running every which way today!

Playing taxi wouldn't be so bad if I just had to drop her off at work and pick her up, but since she has 2 jobs I have to do it twice today again. Vic will be working at both her jobs today so drop off at 8:00 am and pick up at noon at the first job, then drop off at 4:00pm and pick up at 11:00pm at her other one. The kid is raking in the money these days and she does help with the gas, its just mom is exhausted and I hate getting interrupted when I am on a roll sewing.LOL

Well back to work, see ya'll later.

Ann

Good Morning Ladies :o) Think I will head into town and hit the Birkenstock shoe sale - you can buy birkis for about $25 pair and my old ones are really wore out. Then I think I will head to Baldwin for the Maple Leaf Festival - it is a huge craft fair that lines all the main streets in Baldwin, I would say the population is about 10,000 but when the festival hits there is about 35,000 people. They do have a little quilt shop there too and are offering 25% off your purchases today - so guess I need to get my bum in gear and get ready - Have a GREAT DAY!!!!

Everybody sounds like they are having a busy day!

It's laundry day here. :^(

Looking forward to seeing pictures of the totes!

I'm so glad I don't have to drive kids around anymore! Although, when I let them drive me around, I swear, when I look in the mirror afterwards, that I have a lot more gray hair! LOL

Everyone have a nice day.
