Flystitch, those templates sounds like a good idea, and if I decide to make circles again on another project I think I'll definitely buy a pack.
Linda and morgans, I tried the starch last night, and it works quite nicely, so will stick to that method for now.
As for the mini-circles (1/4 inch), I tried to find some faux suede or the like, but with no luck. And, also tried doing satin stitch circles but didn't really like the look. So, I'll continue to do them with freezer paper (and turning the edges) as I did the two in the pic. I "only" need twelve, so just have to be a bit patient, LOL!
