I didn't quite know what you were talking about when said large salvage until yesterday. I was looking at some material and you are right some of the fabrics have a salvage 1 inch to an 1 1/2 inch. That is terrible. For some time I have started doing my material purchases of 1/2 a yard rather than purchase a fat quarter. This sometimes bothers the people cutting the fabric, but who is the customer anyway.
