Wow Carolyn, Very creative!! I have photoshop also but haven't learned how to use it properly yet. I would love to make some patterns out of flower pictures a friend of mine takes. I would be very interested in how you went from picture to pattern.

Very masculine quilts.

I have had the border fabric in my stash for about 8 years. I had about 6 yds of each left from a Girl Scout Project we did when Izzy was in 6th grade (she is a college Jr now). The darker fabric is a Kaufman and I know I paid $1.69 a yd at a local fabric store that carries discontinued lines in addition to new lines (The receipt was in the bag still). They have a crazy flat fold section that is I think now around $2 a yd. You have to know fabric to get deals but when I buy for Scouts it is easy to find what I want.
