I worked in a Singer store. We sold used machines. Your machine would of sold for about 125-150 depending on what all came with it. On some of the machines, if they needed repaired, the price rose a bit. I have a Stylist 534, I love it. It needs some new gears on the bottom. I keep it up because the free arm is so narrow, I sew on patches for a friend and it is so much easier to do on my Stylist. I am a Singer gal.

You might check with Ebay to see what they're selling your model for, and/or sewing machine shops that sell used machines. What model Baby Lock do you have? I have the Decorator's Choice, I've had it a little over a year now and am doing well with it. I still like my old Bernina though, just wish it would do some of the things the BL can.
