dj, this is a 14" block. What do we do, cut off 1-1/2" to make it a 12-1/2" block?
Count me in.Don't know yet 1 or 2.

Forgot, I'll do 2 sets. Also, when I printed out the pattern from quilterscache, I noted it is a 14" block, but you stated to measure before mailing and it should be 12 1/2 in square. Please clarify. Thanks, Susan

Welcome Sue, Jan, Quilto, Loretta and Susan. These are 2 1/2" floral strips. You can find the pattern on quilterscache. Thank you Susan for correcting me, please make sure it measures 14 1/2" square before mailing. Boy, we should have a nice selection for swapping.

Re: Granny's Flower Garden. COMPLETE.
Good Morning everyone, I have been looking at the pattern. We could strip piece this block(the way El does)and not have all those small pieces to sew together.
Cut the strips, the length crosswise the fabric, the width needed. Sew them together in the right combinations. We would have strip sets to cut apart into 2 1/2 inches. Lay out the strips sets in the right order, then sew the strip set together and the square would be finished. It would be much faster. All the measurements are in the pattern, it should work. What do you think???
