Very pretty (and useful also)! I have some of the yellow top fabric. Love yellow anything.
Quilter78. . . Thanks for the pattern, I'm planning to make a few for friends and of course one for me.

Re: Flower pincushion
Very cute. Question: what did you fill the cushion part with? I once made a pincushion, of course, not this nice pattern, but, it filled it with polyester fiberfill, used little pieces like that pattern said, and I often have difficulty getting the pins into it. Did you use sand inside, if so, what kind? Or did you use metal filings and if so, where did you get them?
And Quilter78, same questions, please. Thanks so much. They are my next project after I get my March lotto blocks done! I'm still pretty far behind! LOL carol/kittyquilt

Oh I forgot I have that patter. What fun you had. I think I need to get it out & make some for gifts. Love the colors
Re: Flower pincushion
Hi kittyquilt, the only material I've used to stuff the flower is leftovers of batting. Nothing else and it works fine

Re: Flower pincushion
I put a little very fine steel wool in the center of the cushion to keep the pins and needles sharp. I had also used scraps of batting. I had no problem putting the pins and needles in..
