Chriss, sounds like a fun day with Elliott. You know I live 12 miles from Disneyland. So when you make your way down, I would love to meet up for a cup of coffee or ice cream.
Nurse Jana, I'm sure you have things under control even with your uncooperative patient. That's a lot of water weight. I would think it would be uncomfortable.
Maryq, I just popped over and watched a bit of Donna Jordan. She didn't trim her HST's. I'm with you on the cleaning. There are so many other things to do.
Velda, that's a nice sized quilt. It's nice that you make them for people that need them.
Tinab, sounds like you've had a great time with everyone. Cooking for a larger crowd is always easier.
Valerie, I'll get back to my KTVC later in the year. And yes, I have an appointment for next Thursday. I went on the portal and they never got back to me. So yesterday I called and left my number. They called back 3 hours later. The recording said to try using the portal. Funny, I did.
Flo, I have a 1934 singer that I leaned to sew on. It needs to go to the shop before I can use it. The wiring frayed.
Judi, I just picked up a pair of glasses yesterday. They are my back up pair. I have insurance and had to use it by the end of the year or lose it. Coverage is Jan-Dec. So now when I need another pair I'm covered.
Maryz, OMG. I never even thought about blood clots. Glad you go it right away. Nice that the kids were still there to take care of Scottie. I'm sure you'll miss them when they head out. Which direction will they go first?
Lois, the dust isn't going anywhere. It will wait for you. Mine always does. Sometimes it waits a long time.
It's sunny and cool. We got in our walk early and Jack is napping. I did a lot of running around yesterday, but got most of my errands finished. Just need to go to Trader Joe's sometime this week. I will finish cutting out that pattern today since I didn't do it yesterday. I might even sew something. My machine is sad for not being used. I think orange chicken, rice, and a veggie for dinner.
Have a great day.

A quick reply to Maryq: our Condo HOA consist of only 12 condos. It's pretty simple I have a board of 5 myself, Pres. Treasur, Secretary and two other owners. We collectively decide things and call annual meeting each September. Sometimes it requires lots of phone calls. Especially during our first year as we got organized and it's a learning thing, that's for sure. It's a 55+ community and we are almost all over 70.
