Happy New Year!

Maryq, sounds like a perfect evening hanging out with friends. Happy organizing today.

Jana, I too have a DVD and VHS players. Don't use them often, but just in case. lol A big happy birthday to Ethan today.

Lyn, bummer Minnie isn't comfortable in the home with Garry. I'm sure she senses things are different.

Denise, hi! Good to see you post. I'm so glad you are still sewing. Your applique is so beautiful.

Valerie, glad you are sleeping well.

Maryz, once all the noise stopped about 1 am I was able to get some sleep, but then the rain started and it was pouring. Maybe tonight will be better. I just can't get comfortable. Sounds like yesterday was a long one for you. Give Foxy a little love for me. I sure miss a kitty.

Chriss, I have a friend that made the tuffet ottoman. It's cute, but not something I would want to make. Glad you are on high ground and don't have to worry about flooding.

We just finished watching the very soggy Rose Parade. It's supposed to clear up in the next few hours, so the boys will get their walk once the rain stops. No plans for today. We had some really loud fireworks over out house until about 1 this morning. The boys were not happy and neither were we. I'll make enchiladas our usual new years day meal. Hope you all have a healthy and happy 2026.

Have a wonderful day.

Good Evening everyone,

Hope you had a great day. After raining overnight and early morning the rain has held off. The movie last night was good. We liked the message at the end. We were able to take a nice walk to get some good exercise. I did take some time to sew a bit. I had made Navy Bean Soup yesterday so just added cornbread for dinner. Beans and pork are a couple of things to eat on New Years. Black eyed peas are Southern.
