Good Morning Girls
Merry Christmas to All of You this morning!

Kind of cloudy, but sounds like it's going to be a little warmer today, like up to 37* or so. No snow in the forecast, so traveling will be easier for everyone.
I don't know about you guys, but as much as I love Christmas --- I'll be glad when it's over! It's been kind of an odd year and confusing and maddening and frustrating. Without going into details, there's been a woeful lack of communication and clarity about plans for today and tomorrow. I'll be going to Shawn & Kris's tonight and Kevin and Sara will come here tomorrow night for a light supper after their big noon meal with Sara's folks. I'll be spending today either in the kitchen, throwing together a couple pies or cleaning up the rest of the house for company tomorrow. This has been one "loop" I have definitely been out of for the last week.
Lyn... What a beautiful E-card!! I bet Garry loved being outside for a little while, glad the weather was perfect for him to get outside for some fresh air. You are in my thoughts and prayers every day.
Maryz.... Oh my gosh, what a fun picture you paint with lights and music and a read DJ to spin music! I have to ask Peggy across the way yet, if they want to play cards. Katie is in. Gary has dementia so I'm not sure if he's comfortable in someone else's house, even though our places are exactly the same.
Jana...That frosting recipe sounds delicious! But then you can't go wrong with cream cheese. Question though... what is a "flip flop". In Minnesota those are sandals for your feet. How about dunking graham crackers in that frosting, or gingerbread cookies!
Tinab...Sorry your day didn't go as planned.... I've heard the expression that sometimes you just have to "Pivot" and change directions when things don't go as intended. I think that's what I'll call my Christmas this year--just a pivot!
Chriss... Are you going to get together with your folks today and tomorrow? Next spring after you get your new windows.... let's plan our new window coverings! I'm ready to trash my ugly beige mini blinds!
Lori.... Hope you are feeling better so that you can enjoy Christmas!
Guess I better get to the kitchen and start those pies. I cheat and use Pillsbury Pie Crust and canned apple pie filling, and I don't feel guilty about it as this is a spur of the moment deal!
Wishing you all a Very Happy Christmas Celebration! May God Bless you all today and every day!
