Lois, sounds like you found some great deals yesterday.
Judi, baking cookies sound like a good idea. It's finally cool enough for me to turn on the oven.
Lyn, that's awesome. I didn't think they came that far south. I've never seen the northern lights.
Jana, I bet you will be happy once your new teeth are in and working to full capacity. I would think a Hostess snowball would be plenty soft. I love those things.
Chriss, only about another month of rehab. Yes, it does take up your day. Good thing you have the time. Funny about you mentioning the medical issue conversation. When we drove out to Temecula a few weeks back, part of our conversation was about out medical issues. I guess once you reach a certain age that's the topic of conversation. This was my first time joining in as well. We decided to change the conversation to better things like fabric and thread acquisition.
Maryz, we have only kept one puzzle to do again. That's our world map puzzle. We keep hoping it will make us better at geography, but it had not helped much. We've made it twice, so maybe it's time to do it again. I donate the puzzles we finish.
Maryq, hope you are having fun looking for Christmas craft items.
Well I'm still sore this morning, so more icing today. I do have better range of motion though. I need to run the vacuum and change the sheet today. I didn't change them on the regular day because I was down with this cold that Bill so kindly shared with me. It's supposed to be a nice day today, but heading into rain this weekend. I have the coat class tomorrow, so I need to gather up supplies for that. I haven't used my machine in a month. I also need to find some fabric for binding the jacket. So that's on my agenda today. Dinner will be something. I need to have some breakfast before I decide on dinner.
Have a lovely day.

Lori, This map shows that you have a chance, with your phone camera set on Night mode and away from lots of lights. Hopefully clear skies, too.

Hi
We here in Joliet saw the Northern lights too. They were beautiful and bright. I saw more dancing lights here then what I saw in Alaska the end of September. It was Gods mastery painting on show. Don't know what the complications mean of a magnetic storms but we don't need to know everything.
Today is my anxious Wednesday, really frayed around the edges. You all must of had your DR degrees in pysch handy as by reading all your messages makes me a bit calmer. Just too much to do and the mind is on overdrive.
Yes, I am the only one making tops for our group so that makes me a bit crazy when I can't produce anything in a month. I did put fabric backings together and pieced some batting to make complete batts and backings so I do have something to show. Will press a few tops then we would have 7 for tomorrow to tie and then a few for December. Made room and put a table in the "to be gone though" room so I can leave my sewing machine up and not put it away after Thanksgiving. That may help with my frayed edges. DD asked if I could make cozy bowls for the 5 littles in their favorite colors, that sounds like fun and something to add to my list of things to do. Getting a bit warmer her now 54 degrees so we should be outside tomorrow after quilting before my dentist appt. Friday I have to meet my sister and go thru stuff from our parents then the weekend will be outside work. Also have to finish binding a baby quilt I made. Its my FIRST pieced and home machine quilted quilt I have made. I have to have that finished before seeing friends next week. When completed I may ask someone for help in posting it. My very first quilt someone else quilted and sadly I have not put the binding on.
Next week, seeing some friends, so I have to get ready for that and may be mia for a while.
Ham and bean soup tasted better today than last night. May try it again. Chop suey/noodles and rice tonight and Bible Study at church. Have some shirts to press up to look nice and then quilt tops. Have to get hairs cut too this afternoon its been 8 weeks. Things just moving faster than I can handle. I think its just Wednesdays for me.
Prayers to all in need.
Have a beautiful rest of your day,
TinaB

Re: Wednesday November 12 ,2025
Me back again,
On a Ethan pick up run. He was nominated and chosen for the All District H9nors Orchestra. So today was the first practice. So I'm sitting at the middle school where practice is.
My friend is good and understands what she needs and will get that going.
So while I was teaching, my broken section of teeth fell right out! Tomorrow can't get here fast enough! When they say temporary, they meant it! I lasted 4 months and 6 days before major issues.
We had a great view of the northern lights last night here. Clear down south to St George as well. Joseph had his telescope out with all the special filters and lenses, can't wait to see what he captured.
Ethan here,
Jana

Jana, that's a bummer about the teeth. Good thing they're getting fixed tomorrow.
Lyn, we have too much light pollution to see the lights here. I'd have to go towards the desert to see them. Some people reported seeing them closer to to AZ border. We're about 20 miles from the coast.
