Belated Birthday wishes to Mary and Happy 43 Anniversary to Flo and DH
Yes times flies and sometimes I do wonder how we put up with each others as I can attest I have pushed DH buttons many times and he is not flawless either, but its good to hear him say I made a mistake or I am wrong, I don't recall hearing that too often. Were on 52 now good times we are a good team.
Its only 42 here now so the few windows I needed to do will be put off a bit. Getting some little things fixed that we were given by the 5 littles and DD. Tomorrow off to babysit the 5 while Mom is working and kiddos are off for conferences. Have a couple of crafts to do with them and some hand on meals to make with them. Supposed to be rainy and cold here this weekend and the 4 letter word was tossed about, UGH.
Time to get the flannel sheets out and on the bed. I love to embroider and am guilty of buying cute crib tops to make for charity. Two are on the way her because I was offered free shipping so I could not resist, I just need to be more disciplined to work on them. I am trying to finish a needlepoint boutique tissue box cover and a table runner with butterflies embroidered on it. These two items were planned for a friend we met on a cruise who sent us some things in friendship, as she put it, just odds and ends. I have taken too long to get these things back to her, and of course I did sent a note when I received the items but I never promised anything to her, so I think she will be happy to get them even it has been awhile. We got our Covid shots yesterday and flu a few weeks ago so that's done. Things just take time to do. I like the idea of a house cleaner at least once she could get things back to square one. I am taking room by room. Have to do LR and DR sheers before we put Christmas up. Neighbors have a tree up in their front window and only the bottom half is lit with a lighted star on top. I am not there yet. Yesterday had errands to do, today have to go to post office, bank and grocery store, then tonight is band concert for grandson and tomorrow off to take care of littles and Saturday another band function to attend. We skipped water aerobic exercises this week to get the house things done. I have been trying to tell DH its a big chunk of the day gone and we can't get it back. Time will tell how we manage things, really need to get quilt tops made for charity have not MADE time for that yet.
Anyway, have to scoot, everyone take care and prayers for all of us for good health, patience, love, guidance, and blessings. So thankful for you all,
Blessings,
TinaB

Lois, the Flamingo quilt came out really nice. Chicken soup sounds good. I might make that for dinner too. I think I have all the ingredients.
Tinab, I too love to embroider by hand. I try and do a little something every day. I just got some new stick on motifs yesterday.
Flo, happy anniversary. Sounds like a good time planned. What movie will you watch?
Maryz, that would be great if you only had to do one hip now. Asking about a topical is on my list. Jack had a better day yesterday. I'm feeling a bit sore today after PT. I'm definitely going to find a Lulu. I just can't keep up and do all my fun things too. I sure hope they figure out the shut down thing soon. They said they probably would open after the election.
Maryq, Mexican food sounds good. Glad you had a good birthday. You're probably out to lunch with friends now. I know you're having fun.
Lyn, a cheesy egg casserole sounds yummy. Let us know how it turned out.
Chriss, I haven't had sauerkraut in a long time. I love it though.
Judi, I bet you are excited to get your Christmas stuff out this year. Last year you were working on the knee getting better. I see many boxes in the garage rafters at my parents house. I'll have to get them down and see if there are things I want to keep.
I'm a little sore today after being moved and massaged in my shoulder. I'm hoping this gets better sooner than later. It doesn't really stop me from doing much though. It's supposed to be 74* here today and going into the 80's by Sunday. It's still cool in the evening and morning though. I never did get to sewing yesterday, so that's at the top of my list. I got the pattern traces and cut out. Now to figure out the fabric. Might go to the fabric store today. Dinner will be chicken noodle soup and corn bread.
Have a wonderful day.
Jana, sure hope the MRI goes well. It's hard to keep up with which doctor when there are many. I bet Ethan will have his own pannini make by the time he inherits one.
