Maryq, I bet that was hilarious. Did she take pictures? The little figurine I left was only about an inch tall. I place it on a shelf next to a tiny sewing machine. We'll see how long it takes her to find it. lol
Jana, playing in the dirt is the best therapy no matter what age. Plus you got a little helper to plant. When those flowers bloom, she will be so proud that she helped plant them. Boys start to help, but then they get their little cars out and start making roads instead.
Valerie, can you send a timer on Tony's phone to remind him to check his bag at different intervals during the day? Hope you get some sewing time in soon.
Maryz, that comment was from Jana. It made me laugh. Yes, we watched the last baseball game of the year. I wasn't rooting for either team, but when the announcers kept putting up all the Toronto stats saying they were going to win I started rooting for the Dodgers to come back and take it. I think Toronto thought they had the win and got a little lax. It was a good series. I will miss baseball for the next 4 months. We watch it almost everyday. It's the only sport I like to watch. On a side note, I don't like the Dodgers.
Lois, my Bill has a cough as well. He started coming down with something yesterday. I'll be keeping my distance.
Diane, I just put the mattress heater on the bed this morning. I just use it to warm up the bed before bedtime.
Tinab, I am in the mood to sew, but we have the kids coming for dinner and I need to do a few things today. So maybe tomorrow.
Judi, does your friend sew? If she does, it won't be to hard for her.
Chriss, you snuck in there while I was typing. Those are fun little memories for Marilyn I bet. We take turns putting a little plastic spider around the house. It gives us a laugh. I don't know what the game was called. I think someone just made it up. You write down three characters from a movie, book, or famous people on a piece of paper and put them in a bowl. You have a minute to pull the names out and get people to guess them. The first round you can only use words. Second round you can only act it out. Third round you can use one word. It was very funny.
So Bill got up this morning and was very confused that his phone and Kindle were a different time. I told him we did the fall back thing on the time and it took him a while to get it. He didn't remember we were doing that last night. I did tell him a few days ago, but he forgot.
I had a fun time yesterday. Lots of laughs and conversation. The friend visiting is a quilter and did a few for me over the last few years. She's really good at custom. So I'm going to send a quilt home with her to do. Today I need to vacuum, dust and mop. Our DIL is allergic to pet hair. More cat than dog. She should be better now that we don't have a cat. We're going to have burgers on the grill and tots. Pie for dessert.
Have a great day.

Re: Sunday November 2nd
My friend is a seamstress and makes beautiful clothing including her own wedding dress,,,but she does not and has no interest in making quilts at this time,,,,But she does want a t shirt quilt for her sons 50th birthday, She didnt ask me to make it for her but to help her make it,,,Since i will be doing one it only made sense to do them together,
I do have a question?? Maryq mentioned the right kind of stabelizer,,,I need to know what is the right kind,,,I have a piece of T shirt Quilt fusible interfacing and a piece of Shape flex iron on woven cotton interfacing that I assume will be what I need. Is there any other kind I should be looking at?? or are these ok??? xxxooo

Judi-
My suggestion is either, but be consistent. Just put any stretch of the interfacing NOT in the same direction of the stretch of the t-shirt knit. That helps stabilize the stretch of the blocks. I suggest also, use regular quilting fabric for sashing.. that helps tame it too.
I'm in church trying to type discreetly as I sit in the front of everyone! Sorry for spelling too!

Home now and corrected all my errors Humm since I was at church, now working at fixing my errors, I guess I put repentance to work. !:) 8 need lots of it too!
