I will happily trade my weather for MaryQ's. We may not reach 60° today and will have rain and maybe a nasty thunderstorm this afternoon.
TinaB, I have carried the little 4 patch with cross in the little pocket of my jeans every day since you sent it many years ago when my Mom passed. Thank you
MaryZ, I see weekends differently than you. Weekends means there's no appointments to run to, which are always down the Mtn. I'm glad you're sleeping better.
Valerie, It has to be so frustrating knowing that your BIL needs to be in the hospital and they won't admit him. Don't overdo on cleaning, we don't want you hurting yourself.
Someone asked if we were ready to travel again. I'm hoping Transwest takes their time on the floor repair. I would like to stay until about October 15th before heading home to Texas.
To everyone else, your days sound busy. I hope something makes you smile and appreciate life.
Yesterday we did get down the Mtn on time. Had a nice lunch with Larry and Mary, then went to see the house they bought and are remodel and expanding. The house is a ranch with walkout basement, backing to a reservoir. They have big plans for it, including 2 huge garages, one in front and the other in back. Larry has several toys and you can't leave things, like a boat or utility trailer left outside. The HOA is strict, but all properties look very nice because of it. Larry has a 40 acre farm and at 80 it's just becoming to much to deal with, even with the full time help of a man that's worked for him for years. Once the new house is done they will put the farm up for sale.
I have a kitchen to clean first. Dishes are in the dishwasher but I don't run it when I'm gone and there's some pots that have to be hand washed. I will start a load of laundry, then head for the sewing room and work on my sister's quilt.
Prayers for our Country and for your needs.
Lyn
