Good Early Afternoon ladies:

Lois, I was taught that if you have a problem with the bobbin thread its the tension on top and vise versa. Hope you get it fixed sooner than later. I hated having problems with my longarm.

Valerie: Still sending prayers for you DBIL, it's sad when family doesn't talk anymore. I know it happens a lot more now than it use too.

Chriss I know your in surgery now and I'm still saying prayers for you. I know exactly how it feels. I am like you, I just turned it over to God and my surgeon. I even told my husband to go home that there wasn't a thing he could do at the hospital except worry. I'm glad he took my advice because I was in surgery from 7:30 to 2:10 Like I told him even if they came out and said this was wrong or right he still couldn't do a thing about it. Everything was fine and when I woke up I still didn't want to see anyone.

Judi: Hope your trips today are all uneventful ones. Last Saturday we bought a new freezer for our garage. I just the tap on the CC machine. Well I seen it said approved and the gal said it wasn't showing on her end. Tap again she said. So of course then she see's it took twice. Nope she could't take one off. We have to wait until Monday for the manager. Ok then on Monday well he isn't in yet, called Tuesday and oh he doesn't come to this shop you need to call the other store. Well long story short here it is Thursday and it's still on my account. Credit union says returns usually take 3 to 5 business days.

Diane, Prayers for them to get clean margins and everything will be healing in no time.

Flo: Yes I could see a nap in the afternoon for you too. Hope all goes well.

Maryz, Hope your appointment went well with your new specialist. From what I've heard hip replacement is one of the easier ones to have done. Sure easy for others to say when there not having the surgery. My BFF needs to have her's done but hasn't scheduled it yet. Thank You for the Anniversary wishes. 43 years sure flew by quickly, especially for a 2nd. marriage.

Jana, Don't you just love sleeping with a window open when it rains? I know I sure do, only problem is my DH doesn't want the rain hitting on the window frame work, so he always closes it. Darn

Lyn, Sorry to hear of the unexpected problems with the MH. Those repairs aren't cheap that's for sure. Thank you for the prayers for this mornings echo. It went well but of course she couldn't tell me anything. She said it should be on my chart within 48 hours. I told her we were going on vacation and she said to have a nice trip, so I take that as eveything looks good.

Lori, Happy sewing time today. Nice getting back into it I bet. I love Costco, when we lived in Aloha, Or. it was only 5 miles away, now it's about 35 miles away. ugh

Maryq, Yes it was a very tragic thing that young troubled man did yesterday. My heart breaks for all the families he has crushed. I don't think you will hear from Chriss's son until much later today. My OHS was a very long surgery and I think she is having something very similar to what I had. My procedure went well and I'll be watching my chart to see what they say.

Flo, Wonderful news that your Son is doing fine, and will be going home in no time.

All went well this morning and I will save my appetite for this evening.

Tinad, I know I haven't talked with you in awhile sure hope your foot is better. Hope your DGD is loving college. I know you miss her a lot.

Prayers for all and I hope I didn't miss anyone.

Joan

DBIL is out of his colonoscopy. There are to many polyps to stop the bleeding. Very large mass found in the colon which will require a good part of his colon bing removed. He is worried about a colostomy which i a real possibility. I told him the alternative really sucks so I think he may agree. He is not going home tomorrow. Surgery is as soon as thy can get him on the schedule. I will speak to the nurse tonight.

Val, sorry to hear this news about your DBIL. What is his first name? I keep thinking of him as "Dibble" as in DBIL. :D We were watching Match Game last night and one of the contestants was a young woman - she was getting ready to compete for Ms Universe. Her "cause" was educating ostomy patients. She had an ostomy due to Crohns and IBS and actually wore an outfit that showed part of the collection bag, in an effort to show people she is who she is - and that many people live long lives with them. That it's just hard to adjust to at first, of course. My two brothers had iliostomies and both eventually adjusted very well over time. So, please tell "Dibble" it's not the end of his world! Hang in there!

Valerie, Sorry DBIL is in worse condition. Prayers continue. The owner of the Resort in Canada lived a lot of years with a bag.

Valerie I worked in oncology for many years did hundreds of colostomy patients if the lower intestines are in tact the colostomy can be temporary, Perhaps if the dont have to remove "everything" ( dont want to be too graphic here) Praying that he does ok. My cousin has a colostomy for maybe 30 yrs, He doesnt even wear a bag anymore just a small patch over his stoma, He knows when it time,,,to put on a bag, heres hoping your DBIL does well///
Horray Chris is out f surgery,,,ICU is normal place to be after that surgery...Prayer will continuexxxooo

Valerie, Sorry for the bad news for your DBIL, my husband had to wear a bag for 6 months when he had to have surgery. He was one of the fortunate ones and it was reversed. The only thing now is he doesn't like wearing jeans because they rub on his healed stoma. Prayers for your DBIL.

Prayers of thanksgiving all around for so many today. Now continued prayers for healing and patience through the baby steps of healing.
So very late getting here. Church quilting this morning then much needed grocery shopping putting all away and making dinner. Should have made reservations but opened a new bottle of wine and had leftovers.
Tomorrow will be a new day and our quilter friends will start their path to healing.
Thanks for your time, everyone get some rest
Take care,
TinaB
