I'm off and running. Tonight Aaron and Kate will let us know which we are getting. And Ethan needs a ride to cello lesson. And Crenda is cutting her hair - it's past her waist and she's going much shorter.

Good Afternoon Ladies: Looks like your calling helped restore the forum. Hope all of you are having a great day. I know I rarely post but I do like to read what you gals are up to. I don't read everyday, so I'm thinking that's why I probaby don't post often.

We are getting ready to take a vacation by train. We always take the sleeper cars. We're going to Minot, North Dakota then driving to Deadwaood, South Dakota for 3 days. Doing the tourist stuff, then driving back to Minot and getting back on the train to Seattle. The only reason were going to Seattle is because the train that leaves from Minot towards Chicago doesn't leave until 11:00 P.M. and Amtrak is usually late sometimes by 3 or 4 hours and the station closes at Midnight. Were to old to be sitting ducks waiting on a train. Lol

When we were both working we traveled by train all the time because we worked for Lockheed Aircraft and usually got 2 weeks off at Christmas. That was always our winter trip. Taking an extended train ride to see family back east.

Glad that QIAD is up and running again.

Jana, I was so glad to see your post!! Lots going on in your world. Cello lessons, haircuts, and do you mean A&K are going to announce what they are expecting? Does Gramma have a "feeling"?? I can't wait to hear!

Joan - glad to see you! Your train trip sounds awesome! Have fun! And please! Come back often!!

The last few days have been a hodge podge of activities here. Working on Cathedral Window pods, cleaning, and company. Tonite Lee & Lara are taking us out for Mexican food. Bill is pressurewashing tables, chairs, and patio for our Supper Club Taco feed on Thursday. And I've also started packing things into the trailer - Quilts, Christmas stuff, non-perishable food, and a few Christmas mysteries.I think we're traveling much lighter this year. That's my plan anyhow.

Hello

Well I had a great weekend I got some fabric to finish my snowman also got fabric to make fat cats flamingos I spent all morning tracing my flamingos and washing clothes.
It was so much fun to hang out with Sandi and Virgil .
I am so happy that the forum is back I was getting so upset I would miss each and everyone of yous I can't remember how long I've been on here.
Well I have to run I will talk with everyone tomorrow.

Hello from Estes Park.

Left the MH at Transwest Chassis service this morning. Stopped at Walmart & bought a small folding table for my sewing room that has nothing in it. Lol It will give me a little work space. Got here and got everything unloaded. The freezer & fridge are packed full.

Joan and any others who haven't been posting, please do, we miss y'all.

I'm so happy QIAD is back up and running. I was missing everyone.

Thank you QIAD for fixing the forum. I've had a busy morning running around. I quilted a mini top yesterday, but don't like the way it looks, so I'm going to take it out. Good thing it's small.

My guess is a boy, that's what everyone is hoping. My Ethan knows as Gracie is a blabber month and told him last week. Just a healthy baby is good! Ethan has kept the secret. I've offered a bribe of his favorite sandwich, Grandma's special panini with my secret sauce, but he just smiled.

Good afternoon. It has been the very longest weekend ever, but QIAD is back and I am glad to see it and all of you.

I sent a thank you message to QIAD customer service. Pretty darn cool that it didn't take long to address our concerns. I think I will also buy something from them today. Not sure what yet but I will surely find something I don't really need that I want. I also added a thank you to Judi's post on FB Quilt in a Day and Eleanor Burns. Perhaps more people will log on from that post.

My surgery has been moved to Thursday instead of today. My assumption is that someone needed that surgery spot worse than I do.

Yesterday I cleaned the bathrooms, today I will dust and do the floors. I don't do too many chores and mostly rest, I am so ready for Thursday.

Now I am off to look at blood pressure machines and wedge pillows, wish me luck.

I don't know what dinner will end up being, I'm waiting to see what Lori has first.

DS1 surgery is Thursday at 7am. DGD will be dropped off here about 6am. I will shower her and Joe will take her to school. Please keep prayers coming.
I just got apple turnovers and pumpkin crumb muffins in oven, Morning spent cleaning.
Thank you to the computer coders that got us up and running again.
