Good morning Peeps, I slepy good and had a good day yesterday...I found that if i stick to the diet the drs office gave me the reflux is mild or gone...so that is what I will do.
Hockey game was fun yesterday boys lost but they had fun and played their first high school league game...they wont win them all and this is learning,,,,
I heard from Maryz this morning she somehow go locked out of Q and couldny post...they got the truck back and are headed to Texas...they will arrive there on or about the 19th,,,Not sure when they will see the kiddos..but im sure everyone is anxious to hug in person....
I am cleaning 2 bathrooms today and heading to the christmas storage to sort more stuff nf get ready to cover as much as I can with Christmas...I also will make pizza dough so we can have that for supper tonight...
Hope you all have a great day,,,Prayers where needed...My DDIL leaves for Mexico and her stem cell trandplant tomorrow morning we will take her to the airport at 5 am/// My DD also is in AW of the prayers said here and the effect they had on Sophias liver issues...she was completely normal and I think my non religious daughter is starting to re think the power of prayer and God's mercies...That also will show the power of prayer,,,,Thank you all XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Re: Saturday November 16
Good morning. It's going to be a great crisp cool day today.
I did get the binding clipped to the quilt and will sew it on today. Dad got two of the three ceiling fans installed yesterday and they work beautifully. I took my stepmom to town for errands then we took the long way home. Not sure if they will be back today or not.
The kids have a zillion pictures of Elliott and added me to their album on my phone. I did notice in one of the pictures Elliott has a toy and I think it's the exact same toy I bought him yesterday. It's going to be hard to spoil that kid if his parents beat me to it, but in the end I will be the winner of this contest.
Becca, enjoy that birthday party, have cake for me. Does your church have a holiday event, is that why you're baking?
Judi, I sure hope there is a way you can get into see the GI people sooner. I'd really like to see you getting better. Glad you had a better night; glad the diet is working. Prayers said for your DIL. and thrilled your DD is rethinking. Perhaps God just let Sophia have some liver issues so he could turn your DD around? Keep us in the loop about the stem cell procedure, I really pray this works.
Lois, I love bagels, but I think I really love the cream cheese. DH is a sweetie to go get them for you.
I'm having a debate in my head. There is a thrift store about 30 miles from here that has a desk that is half off. It would cost $25. I could use it as a sewing table but really don't need it just yet. And I haven't seen it in person, only on FB. Waiting is probably the wisest thing.
After my parents left yesterday I cooked my meatloaf it will be tonights dinner. Tomorrow I go to see my kids. This will be the best weekend ever.
you all have a wonderful weekend,
Chriss

Good morning!
I have white fluffy stuff on my yard! Not much, but the grass is covered.
Not much around here. Mr G is doing great. Up and about, just being careful not to move his left arm much. The stitches come out next week. Still restrictions on movement and lifting until Christmas. Sarah will be over today . Her boys, Ethan and DH Joseph are on a scout camping trip and will be home later this afternoon. Sarah is helping Mr G straighten out the Quicken stuff. Mr Grumpy has it all messed up! Brain fog, and now I'm dealing with that again with this surgery and anesthesia.
Glad to read Maryz is on her way and truck is fixed. And the good report for Sophia. So many tender mercies poured out for all of us, all the time. We need to learn to see them, they are there all the time!
Maybe today I can get in the Batt Cave and play.
Hugs,
Jana

A sunny day with a Cardinal at one of the feeders. The birds go through a lot of seeds, but I love seeing them.
Becca, Enjoy the birthday party and have an extra piece of cake for me.
Lois, Gee a bagel sounds really good with cream cheese too, I hope.
Judi, I hope the diet isn't too restricted, but good that it's helping. Hope you can get in for that scope soon. Prayers for DDIL that the stem cells work. Also prayers for DD and her view of God.
Jana, I know the issues with Quicken. Garry started having trouble a couple months before his stroke, with checking credit card statement to Quicken. I took that over and tried to post every receipt but got behind. I finally quit posting to Quicken. I can look online at the balances and transactions for banking and cards. The MC is set up that I get a phone notification by the time I get to the car.
Chriss, It never hurts for a boy to have the same toy, he might misplace one. I hope the binding goes on smoothly. As for a sewing table, I still vote for a Sew-Ezi table. Yes it's a lot more than $25, but it will fold up if you need it out of the way. Your machine is flush to the table. I could go on and on.
Yesterday was nice! I enjoyed the class which was not paint but color pencils and gel pens. I did want a red poinsettia. A couple other people didn't either and those that did seemed to have trouble getting the red shade they wanted. There were 8 in the class, even one guy who must sew with his wife from the comments made. The panel is embroidery stitched outline which helps you stay in the lines while coloring. I enjoyed it enough that I bought a panel with bells on it. I'm going to do them in silver and blues. I have winter/Christmas fabrics I bought at the Houston Quilt Show years ago that will become a nice table runner.
Today has started better. Last night I told Garry if I was still in bed, it wasn't time to get up. He was up at 4 to go potty and then came back to bed. I hope that problem is solved. It's the weekend and no business calls or other business stuff can be done. Yay! I plan to get my Sew-Ezi table out of the MH and set up my machine and try the pot holder pattern. I may color on the bells, too.
Have a great day.
Lyn
OOPS, I forgot to post the picture of the panel I colored yesterday.

Re: Saturday November 16
Good Morning Girls
Happy Saturday! Or should I say, Happy Chore Day (is there really such a thing, happy "chore" day)? If you could see my house, you would know why it's chore day!
Becca....Is your grocery store close by your apartment? Do you still have a car and drive yourself around? I dread the thought of my kids taking away my car key, though you can have just about everything delivered these days!
Judi... So good to hear that you are doing better!!! Are you driving yourself yet? I to am so often amazed at the power of prayer. Little miracles happy every day in our lives because of our prayers. No matter what we ask for, God always knows best. He puts people, doctors, nurses, friends, care-givers in our lives just when we need them the most! Are you starting to put out your Christmas decor? I'm kind of getting the itch, but have to wait for Shawn to come get the stuff down from the attic, and it's deer season so it will be a while.
Lois.... I've seen a bunch of ads on Facebook for the Grace Mini-quilter, from a place in California and man I am SO SO tempted!!! It's quite reasonable actually, but I just got the bill for my car insurance---so guess I won't be ordering one!
I'm so happy for you that you got yours and are able to quilt your own things. I so hate asking Viv to do mine all the time!!
Chriss.. OH yes, Gramma's always Win the "spoiling contest" It's our jobs!! How great you have your new fans in!!! And now you have access to all those wonderful baby pictures!! Are you going down there for Thanksgiving? Your Dad is a GREAT Grandfather now!! How does he feel about that? You have 198,000. on you car? I got my car in July, 2015 and have only 67,000.
Jana... Good to hear that Michael is doing so well. Isn't modern technology great!! Maybe he will feel so much better you will have to call him Mr. Happy instead of Mr. Grumpy?
Maryz... Just in case you get online.... I'm talking to St. Christopher today---hoping he gets you to Austin safely and in good time!
Guess I better get in gear.. I pinned a table runner the other day and I'd really like to get that quilted today so I can do the binding tonight while watching TV. It's a toss up---do I do that first or chores. hhmmm such a dilemma. I haven't been in the sewing room all week so I really want to go play!!!
Wishing you all a GREAT day

Re: Saturday November 16
Good afternoon from a chilly but very sunny, SW. Pa....So good to see the sunshine!
MaryZ, happy to hear you've gotten the truck back and are on your way again...We're all waiting for news of the hugs and kisses from the A Team....I've been trying to check on the eagles but not much is happening....It seems, the nest was destroyed and they could be building a new one but no ones seems to know, yet....On the Ft. Myers nest, there are 2 eggs and for awhile, we thought maybe a 3rd....This couple is amazing.....I'm with Maryq and St. Christopher, Happy, safe trails.....
Maryq, I also have St. Christopher near by and never leave home without him.....AND, Oh my, I would hate for anyone to see my sewing/craft room...I started yesterday, took everything out of the closet and started sorting...Some how, I ended up with more stuff after I sorted, how does that happen????Of course, that's not counting the under the bed bins I have in kathy's room.....
I also keep seeing those ads for the Mini quilter and it sure sparks my interest...I keep thinking and wish someone would give some advise......
What do you do with old thread????? When my sister and I cleaned out that house a year or so ago, I ended up with all the thread and 3 sewing boxes full of needles etc. But, the thread is really old, some 10¢ and alot on wooden spools....Right now, I have a grocery bag full of thread, waiting to go somewhere!
Judi, so happy to hear you're feeling better....Having heartburn is no fun and hopefully, you'll get that scope and they'll figure out the problem...I've discovered, lots and lots of things I'm not able to eat any more and sure not happy about it but prevents the "hurt".....I miss going to the grand son's hockey games but it sure got my heart jumping...Then they went into Lacrosse and I had to stop going, lol.....
Chriss, tomorrow is the big day...... And as Lyn said, a boy can never have too many toys even if it's a duplicate...And of course Grandma wins! My sister and I finally went to the resale shops yesterday and I came home with quite a few bargains...I decided, if I saw something I got it, not think about it and then it be sold when I went back...Lyn has good advise on that table but if you really liked the desk, I'd go for it....That meatloaf sure does sound good....Usually the 1st day, I make a baked potato, then after that it's cold sandwiches with my home made relish...Got me drooling!
Well, beat wrap this up and wade through the mess...Of course my sister called and we're going out for dinner with 2 friends and then back to her house for cards and dessert (I made a cheese cake with cherries on top).....Hopefully, it won't be too late of a night and I won't meet up with any deer on my way home..........
You all have a great rest of the day..................
