It's 53* here and raining. We may possibly even get T&L and hail later today. Should be an interesting weather week. I hope it clears up next week for our camping trip to the ocean.
Bill got Unicorn loaded on the LA yesterday and will at least get started quilting it today. He's going to use a simple pattern and it's a small quilt (62" square), so it should go quickly. I got my narwhat block done and today I'll be turning it into a 24" pillow cover. I still need to bind and lable Lemur and Unicorn and then the Christmas sewing will be finished! Whoo Hoo! We did it! Next will be choosing projects and fabrics to pack into trailer for winter sewing in Texas. I already have some kitted up but will probably need more.
We have appts for our Covid shots this afternoon. I think we'll be done then - Covid, flu, RSV, and Bill had to get his d-tap brought up to date. Bill will have 12 hours of light flu sx after the Covid shot (he thinks he's dying, of course). I have very little reaction.
BECCA - I will be needing to bring my house plants in off the deck soon, too. I don't have too many. Plants are a pain when you are gone for 3 months at a time. I love the Parkway for the beautiful scenery and the fact that there is no commercial traffic allowed and no commercial buildings either. I know you will love your trip(s). What are you embroidering now?
CAROL - we have those signs around our neighborhood, too, and we always know it's generally the same story - cat vx coyote. But you found the cat!! I hope the owner answers you. If not, sounds like you might have a pretty new cat! You can call him/her Tony/Toni for St. Anthony - patron saint of lost and found.

TINA - glad your vehicle is home again. And super glad Frankie is so talented and if anyone can repair it, he can. But if he can't, can you get by without replacing it? Prices for used vehicles have skyrocketed (along with everything else.

LORI - you had a busy day! A fun class and a family visit. Groceries and cooking might be less fun, but better than dental appts! We are at the end of our teriyaki chicken so we might use the last of our shell pasta dish and make a creamy chix pasta soup. It's certainly soup weather here!
What's the plan at your house?
