Re: On Wander Lane (OWL)
I finished my blocks and have my 12" blocks sewn together. Now I'm thinking . . . . I was going to wait until after quilting to sew on buttons, but instead of having DH use his Q-bot to quilt this I think I'll do it myself, freehand. Then I can accent each block as I want and also avoid hitting the buttons, so I think I'll go ahead and sew on all those buttons now before starting on adding borders and small blocks. So, today will be button day, I guess.

All the hand work and buttons are sewn now to put it together, I will cut the borders and binding today...In the december book she gives direction for piecing the backing from the several focus fabrics...that would really look good on this quilt..but I have a green backing that matches the outer border that i will use. I have focus fabric but I like mine better,,,xxxooo
