It's been so dark the last few mornings. It's almost like the days are getting shorter by 1/2 hr increments rather than by a minute. Thank you, Pacific Ocean. But we'll break 70* by this afternoon, even if cloudy.
CAROL - your bean soup sounds like a keeper. We love bean anything! I'm going to guess that your intra-guild quilt is a project that everyone in your guild has contributed to? And your contribution is borders? I have been enjoying your Amanda Flower books. I finally found them at the library and downloaded them with the Libby app on my phone and listen to while I sew/cook/clean/whatever. I'm on my third one which is Blueberry Blunder. The shorter stories are about different characters that are in the main stories? I'm not "reading" them all in order because they weren't all available. But I got the first one first to set up all the characters. Thanks! And yes, my fingers are so used to typing RV that they didn't get the memo from my brain fast enough to type TV instead.

TINA - sorry about the headache. Extreme heat gives me headaches. But so do other things. And I'm betting your philly cheese steak sandwiches were 1,000% better than the frozen ones from Costco. We are hosting a BBQ sometime in July for Bill's gym class friends - our other Supper Club. And we may serve those - homemade of course! So, do you have a fabric store in Deming now?? You said you were going grocery shopping and to the fabric store looking for light batiks for the July lotto. I'm waiting kind of impatiently for the Christmas swap to get posted. I am ready!
BECCA - How nice it will be to have a visit with Denise! I think you said you are about 1-1/2 hrs from her? Half the time you used to be. I hope your cutter turns up. You know, as soon as you go buy a new one, it will magically appear. One of the laws of life. Like never give away your maternity clothes!!
LORI - no, developers here always completely clear cut any land before building a new development. The won't leave so much as a leaf. Such a crime against nature in my opinion.
Last night's penne pesto plan turned into a Mexican taco casserole. I was missing a couple of ingredients and I added diced green chilies and it was all good. Bill loved it and happily, we have half of it left. So that will be tonite's supper.
