Supper club - Tues nov 15

Post by purrfect-lady » Tue Nov 15, 2022 5:18 am

Good morning

Carol, Glad you liked the photo of Shasta. A lot can change in 2 months!

Tina, thank you for posting it. Going through the Siskiyous yesterday my cell coverage and Internet were pretty sketchy

Jana, Glad the disaster at Sandy’s it’s just about cleared up. I know exactly how grateful Sandee is for all the help you and your family have given her.

We are going to have a long travel day today – about 7 1/2 to 8 hours. But then we’re going to put down our feet for two nights. We have a lasagna in the freezer and that just might be what we’ll pull out for tonight. It will be dinner for at least two nights, maybe three.

And you?

Good morning everyone!
Sorry I posted a pic yesterday and nothing else, we were in town. Frankie decided yesterday morning that he needed to go see the dr so I got ready and was the driver and we went a couple places after that I needed to go so we were gone about 5 hours. When we came home and I got as much put away as I had the energy for I sat down and poof I was asleep for an hour at least. Then finished my job of putting away. The kids are over their sicknesses, Easton is still on amoxicillin for his strep but he's not contagious anymore. Jazmyne tested negative since the weekend and we've tested negative a bunch of times. Now just to figure what's wrong with Frankie. The dr did put him on a z pack and pain pills for his jaw pain and he gave him an order for an xray and said if he's not feeling better in 3 days to go get it done, he's supposed to go back Monday for a follow up and the results of his blood work they did. They took 2 viles and he wanted to tell her he charges for that 🤣😂
Mary, you're very welcome. 😊
Gosh that's gonna be a really long day today, you sure you don't want to break that up into 2 days?
Jana, maybe with that many t- shirts you could make them as the front and backs of a couple?
I thought I was going to post something else but can't remember at the moment.....🤔
Mary's lasagna sings yummy and I haven't fixed that in a long time so I'd I have the ingredients I'll make that. If not I'll cry and figure something else out 🤣😂

Becca, I bet you will be happy to get that crown taken care of finally.

Mary, that's a long haul, but I'm sure staying in one place a couple night will be nice.

Tina, so glad Frankie finally went to the doctor. Hope it's nothing serious and he starts to feel better soon.
I bet you are tired today after that long day yesterday.

My friend was laid to rest yesterday at Riverside National Cemetery. What a beautiful place. It looks more like a park than a cemetary. I have some cleaning to do today. Then I'll see what trouble I can get into.

My brother totaled my dads car on Thursday, so now we are driving him where ever he needs to go. He's is getting so forgetful, that he would get lost when he was driving places. I feel bad that he doesn't have his car, but I think it's better for everyone.

Dinner will be teriyaki chicken, rice and broccoli.

Have a lovely day.

Tonight is Guild meeting. We just decided to have Pasta and Meat Sauce for dinner.

Maryz - Where are you staying for two nights? Are you in the orange groves near Bakersfield? Thanks again for the photo! DH and I both enjoyed it.

Tina - Glad to hear the doctors ran some tests on Frankie. I hope they determine what is wrong.

Lori - Riverside National Cemetery is beautiful. My Dad and Mom as well as my brother are buried there. Hope your brother is okay. It sounds like your dad needed to give up driving. You certainly have your hands full. Prayers all is well.

Jana - Hopefully Sandee can make a wonderful T-Shirt quilt. Glad you got it all washed.

Becca - Have you posted a picture of the baby quilt? I need to go look. Again, congratulations on finishing.

I managed to make 4 placemats for Meals on Wheels. I will turn them in tonight. They are very plain. Today I haven't sewn.

Good almost dinner time!

I will be quick as this computer is about to be thrown out a window! Fought for a hour to pay the property taxes - the stupid website had all kinds of hoops to make you jump through and me and the computer were not being friends - but I finally got them paid! We are good for another year!

Dinner will be a small steak, french fries and cauliflower with cheese sauce.

Oh, as I was trying to do the last step of paying the taxes, little kitty wanted to jump up on my keyboard and I was quicker, thank goodness than she was! who knows who elses taxes may have been paid!

So far, the mold stains are being stubborn, but I ordered the product that Lori recommended - thank you- and it will be here Friday. That is if the rotten Post office decides to deliver - today they took a package back, because it was too big or all the lockers on the community mailbox were full. I was told I needed to go the the PO to pick it up - I don't think so! I called them and it will be delivered tomorrow!

Today doesn't seem to be my day! I will go to bed tonight and get out on the other side of the bed - maybe that will work!

Hugs,
Jana
