Hi Becca and all you members of Supper Club.
I had a rough day, here. DH was not doing as well today. Still wheezing and short of breath. Called doctor, make the story as short as possible. We got meds for him to fight off start of pneumonia. Glad we didn't wait!! Heck of a hassle getting everything, with being quarantined. Had to drive twice to pharmacy, due to doctor's office screw up. Oh just don't want to get into that!! But all good now.
So ... That it why I am late. Thawing out a casserole leftover from freezer for our supper.
I did finally decide to make something special for SS project. Then found out I cut 32 squares to the wrong size. Grrrr! My own fault, but still I was mad as self. Luckily I cut larger than directions, so was able to fix it. Just wasted fabric. It's not the first time, won't be the last.
Put the project aside for today, so I won't screw up again. LOL

Hope to see more of you later. Hugs!!
HUGS, 💕 Vel

Good afternoon

Oh Vel, I so feel for you. Many prayers for you and Richard! Quick rec9very!

Well, they are keeping Michael and transferring him up to the main hospital in SLC. The University of Utah hospital, a very good hospital - it's a major teaching hospital here. I am home, keeping in touch with him via phone. He has a complication of sepsis- a blood infection, which can be dangerous. He is in good hands.

My Ward is watching over me and brought me dinner for tonight.

Hugs and prayers for y'all!

Hi all!
Becca thanks for setting the table. Happy birthday to Denise ❤🎉 we don't have any rain but we do have clouds.... but I always hope for rain 😊
Velda, glad you got your DH some meds, I hope it gets him better quickly. 🙏
Jana, prayers for Michael, I hope they get him all better quickly. 🙏
I've been looking at thing for my elf today. We also went to lunch with 1 of Frankie's brothers and his wife and 1 of his sisters and her husband, it was a great visit. Then I found some little things to finish decorating the porch for Fall.
Thank you all for such kind words about my quilts.... these are all made from swap blocks, I just arrange and decide what fabrics to use with them.... I've used between 28 to 30 yards of my Christmas stash for sashing, cornerstones, borders and backs and my Christmas tote can now close woohoo!
I'm going to make simple potato soup tonight, we ended up with some little steaks last night.

Jana- Prayers going for Michael's full recovery and for you too. Take care of yourself.

Vel - Glad to hear you and your DH are doing better.

Becca - Happy Birthday to Denise.

Tina - You deserve much praise for such a lovely quilt!

Tonight is the Board meeting. I made Autumn Soup for dinner. Earlier I made a Pumpkin Cranberry muffin (recipe from Betty Crocker). It is delicious! I do think I will be making some Garlic-Cheese biscuits tonight though.

Velda, that stinks. You would think the pharmacy could fix the problem with a phone call. I guess those days are long gone. Glad you were able to get the meds.

Jana, hopefully Michael will be better tomorrow. How are you feeling?
