How is everything in your world this morning? We are 54* but still a little chilly to sit on the deck, even in my fleece robe. I don't get dressed in the mornings until I'm ready to go for my walk, which is always after I post here. If I get dressed, Scottie gets excited and won't leave me alone. And Foxy won't leave me alone until I follow him back to the sewing room where I'm supposed to watch him eat (he checks on me out of the corner of his eye to make sure I'm doing it!), then pet him until he's happy, and then tuck him into his basket for his first nap of the day. Guess who runs our household!!
Yesterday I finished Spell Dancer (except for label but that will come soon). I posted a photo if you'd like to see . . Today I hope to make another LOTR block. The afternoon will be purrfect to do a few outside chores I've still got left. I have big flower pots to empty and put away, and yard art to bring in, wash, and store for winter. It's going to be about 75* today so the weather will be great for this.
TINA - How is the black/white stitching going? And you got rain! Is it over now?
VELDA - are you done assembling yet? You must be ready to move on to other fun things by now!
BECCA - I do bet your errands piled up. Though I wouldn't mind a fresh bread errand! My SIL had to do all the errands, too. And the last year or two, Jim couldn't be left alone so she either took him along to ride shotgun or we went over to hang out with him, or Bill took him someplace more enjoyable for him - John Deere dealer, gun shops, truck shop, etc. It was always a 'dance'.
JANA - that's pretty sweet to watch Lila in nursing mode! Glad Ethan is doing OK. Don't want any infx to set in! My LOTR a masterpiece? We'll see. I've only done a few blocks so far and they were the 'easy' ones. Some of the ones coming down the pike at me look awfully daunting. My sis says this may be the project that pushes me over the edge. lol! And she's most likely right! I'm glad your Michael can keep his hand in. By the time the young engineers have 50 years in, they will also probably be shaking their heads about what the newbies don't know.
CHICKIE - So great to see you here! I'm so sorry you're still having your 'episodes'. I keep hoping to hear of a day when you report not being a dizzy blond! Happy almost half birthday to Mr. Bert! And hugs to Timi. I love that I got to meet her in person, feed her apples, and pet her pretty cow nose!
Our supper tonite is going to be leftover chicken and pasta. Though we'll probably be making new pasta. And salad. And don't tell Bill but I'm going to sneak some broccoli in there somewhere - in the salad or in the pasta. Just little bites that aren't worth him trying to pick out.

What's the supper story at your house?
