Thank you Bev, the Halloween swap has been really fun. But I do have to admit that it was Tina that urged me to do this. I was hesitant because the Christmas swap was still active but it wouldn’t have been much fun to sew Halloween blocks in November so I went for it at Tina’s urging. Lol’

Thanks Mary for the lesson. Yes, I think it's what is considered double sided. I have not done much fusing in my quilting career and when I did, it was a long time ago, so yes, I really looked at the stuff and said, " self, you have no clue!"

Here’s my block. I wasn’t happy with my choice for the jar band, so I cut out another piece of fabric and laid it on top (which is why it looks wonky) but I don’t like it either. I’m going to Hobby Lobby tomorrow so hopefully I’ll find something there. Yay! Image

VAL, if I was any help, you are most welcome! I always have to re-learn various techniques if I haven't done them for a while. Just be sure to use lightweight fusible and to stitch it all down using your stitch of choice- zigzag, buttonhole, straight, etc.

KATHY - thank you for checking in! I was getting ready to go hunting! You are making good progress!

SHARONA - Thank you, too, for posting a photo. Your jars are great and I'm sure you'll find the purrfect fabric for your jar rings!

BEV - I'm sure your blocks will be here soon so we'll be checking our mailbox a bit more often this week.

I texted CAROLYN (Cupcake). She says she has about 2/3 of her blocks finished and will get the rest done soon.

My collection tote for all your blocks is filling up! :D

CArolyn, I got your PM. I found some great fabrics, too, and stocked up. Now I'm set for many Halloweens to come!

VAL - yay! Happy Sewing!

JACQUIE - I got your PM, too. I'll swing by the our mailbox today and scoop up those wonderful blocks! Seems like they got here quickly given where they came from. :D

Jacquie, your delightful blocks are here! Love that cat twining between the witch's boots! And the bats is spookily purrfect!! The clerk at the UPS store remarked that they didn't often get packages from Scotland! Bill could see he was curious, so told him it was quilt blocks. :D Thank you!!
