Kind of chilly here this morning. Only to be 65* here today, but going back to mid 70's this coming week. I think summer is winding down. I have a lot of end of summer yardwork to get to - some day.
Yesterday I finished my Halloween swap blocks and then got started on Spell Dancer assembly. Just the first of the ten sections. Our third Boondockers arrived around 3pm. Nice folks here for a family reunion. Funny, this is our first week doing this and so far all three of our campers are also first time camping with Boondocker hosts. Everyone is feeling their way. They brought us peaches from their tree. Maybe I will make a pie today. Or maybe we'll eat them fresh. I'll let Bill decide.
Today - more Spell Dancer, and probably laundry. And maybe I'll get out and start deadheading some flowers, bushes.
Got interrupted for a few hours so now I'm back
Bill chose pie, so I'll get that started in a few minutes.
JANA - you are so right! Women are much better at multi-tasking. I can't even talk to Bill about anything if he's so much as brushing his teeth! lol! Have fun with all your multiple tasks today!
IRISH - my goodness! If you lived in my time zone we'd be passing each other in the hallway going to/from bed! But sounds like you are having a great time. What a wild woman you are! Love it! Many people don't realize the teeth are the gateway to the heart. Good dental health is so important to good cardiac health. Bill has no heart issues, but I think his oral surgeon wanted to be extra careful. I'm really sorry to hear about your Chriss. My Roy (DH#2) had cardiomyapathy but he HATED dentists and simply refused to go - until he finally needed an extraction - to be done in the hospital after a round of antbx. And he died 3 days later at age 45. His oral surgeon and his cardiologist both felt very guilty. And really shouldn't have.
BECCA - we all knew you would have someone taking great care of CA. Your cleaning lady is sure a huge blessing! And yes, we have a great spot for RV's and we're free. I suspect we will have many more campers than we want. But it's nice to help people out who need a place to park for a night or two.
TINA - I'm sure you're worried about your aunt. If the hospital says they discharged her but you can't reach her at home, maybe you could call her local police dept to do a welfare check. Though here, they will no longer do that because they just don't have the manpower since all the defunding.

I decided we're going to have meatloaf and baked potato and salad for supper. And peach pie, which I'm off to build right now!
How about you?
