SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, Aug 7
Good morning,
We had a skinny table yesterday. Love that word - "Skinny". But I still missed everyone.
Sis and I went for a little drugstore shopping yesterday and then I did finally get some new shoes - Asics. I like white shoes but they seem to be passe`. I ended up with grey with pale green soles. Sigh. I've never tried this brand, but I've been told they are good and one of my chiropractors wears them, so we'll see how long they last.
Al & Tina are off for the weekend to visit their son in Seattle. We will cat-sit for them and spend today doing laundry and packing our trailer for our 3-day camping trip. A&T will return Sunday and we'll all leave Monday. Bill & I will be back on Thursday and Al & Tina will leave from there to go home to CO. In any spare time, I plan to finish my piano key borders for my sew-along quilt (I have two sewn on!). Then figure out a backing for it.
supper tonite will be just Bill and I. Our fridge is full of leftovers so we will be feasting on orange chicken, rice, ham sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, an salad.

Good morning!
Mary, you've sure been getting things done! I'm glad your sis is feeling better with her back. Does she get massages and go to the chiropractor at home? If not maybe she should start and see if that helps? I'm all for that before surgery for sure! I bet your sew along quilt is going to be sooooo pretty, it sure sounds like it to me
We're going to Cruces today. I have a list of places to go and things to get! LOL there's even a Quilt Shop on my list! I've been looking forward to going since Monday when they sent me an email of their sale! Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Kohl's and Kevin's house are all on my list too

Not sure what supper will be, it kinda depends when and what we eat for lunch. When I went last time with Holly I didn't eat anything for supper LOL
I hope more will stop by the table today β€β€β€β€

Good morning!
Got us fed and the kitchen back in order. Just about to go play in the Batt Cave.
Mary - 2 down and two to go. But probably by now all are done! The piano key border will bring perfect harmony to your quilt. I couldn't resist!
Tina - that is quite the shopping trip. Best part, the quilt shop!
We picked up the glass, now need to install it. That's easy, as it is held in with a screw and tab. Only screwdriver needed.
Michael picked the banned dinner entree with salad and green beans. We will do the other idea, the Italian take out and watch trains for our anniversary next week. It is way too smoky to be outside. We can barely see over to the church from my deck right now. Rain is predicted for tomorrow night. Hope they are right!
Dinner - may be more banned, before I freeze the rest of it. Costco only sells large pieces, so I save it for later meals. It is loved in this house. Tomorrow all the family will be out here for strawberry shortcake for Michael's BD. I am baking spice cupcakes, Michael's favorite cake and a couple of angel food cakes for the shortcake part.
Do fun things!
Hugs,
Jana
Me adding - we were watching the Roku and the Ward still had last Sunday's broadcast on there, so I was watching myself conduct the music. Rather strange watching yourself on TV! Not half bad, I did look likecI knew what I was doing! LOL!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, Aug 7
Hello everyone. I had a long post ready and my phone was ringing. I needed to take the call, so I hurried and thought I was saving my post as a draft. Now, I said to myself "How do I get back to my draft?"
Well. I found the spot. I click on "manage drafts" and "there are no drafts" comes up. Shoot!
Now I forgot everything that I typed.
First off: I am happy to report that I actually cooked today!! Can you believe that? We have been eating out so much, I thought maybe I forgot HOW. LOL
Sloppy Joes and potato salad and fresh peaches for our meal.
As for any other I was posting, well, maybe I will remember tomorrow.
