Re: UFO contest - May through August
I have been following everyone's finished quilt projects. Wondered why Valerie's "Hummingbird" and Izzy's "Gone Fishing" were not shown. Then I realized they were posted on the thread from the last group of UFOs.
Wow, those are two beautiful quilts! Everyone is doing so great. It has to be a great feeling to see your projects finished. Ha, now you all have more room to purchase new fabric.

IZZY, what a beautiful way to display your dad's medals. I would like to bet he is looking down and smiling.

Here's a couple more DONE!
Now, I definitely won't take credit for either of these.... but just wanted you too see.
Both of these tops were given to me by a dear QIAD friend... as gifts for the hospice.. a LONG time ago and I am embarrassed that it's taken me this long to finish. Viv did the quilting... so all I really did was the binding...
a HUGE thank you too special friend!

You all are doing great! Love them all ❤❤❤
I'm still on hold for sewing, we're painting the outside of our house and doing some repairs. I have 1 side planned for each month to spread the expense out but hopefully it won't take a month to do each side.... I'm thinking about a week to 10 days per side. I can't get on a ladder anymore so DH is doing that part and he's never painted the house before so I'm trying to teach him as we go, he should be a pro by the time we're finished LOL. I've always been the painter, mower, weed eater weeder, waterer ect but now that he's retired he's getting a lot of outside chores handed to him on a silver platter
