Supper club. Sunday, Nov 22
Good morning!
Today we finally will land in Austin. Have about 142 miles to go. Last night we stayed in a little city park on the Llano River. No hook-ups but it was free and pretty. Tons of tall pecan trees in this park and as it got dark we could see all the trunks and many limbs were wrapped in various colors of Christmas lights! And each tree had a little sign saying it was sponsored by a different business or family in town. Beautiful display. Only downside was all of town was in the park until midnight, playing, screaming, music, or just driving through.
Tina, thx for the tour! So it looks like the LA is going on a different wall than the old frame was on last time I was in your sewing room..
Our supper tonight is going to be lasagna. A frozen one from Costco at home. Will share with my sister and Al. Will be fun to see them this afternoon! Not sure when we get to see Autumn. Hopefully today.

Good morning!
Jana, I'm hoping to get caught up on UFO's for sure, I know it'll take time though..... lots of time.
Mary, hmmmmmm I can't remember what wall it was on last time.... I've had that one on 3 different walls in there and once it was in a different room LOL
You're almost there!!!! Yay!!!! I bet your ready to see them!
Oh goodness, that was quite the party going on in the park, I hope you two got some sleep!
Well today will be vacuuming and dusting. I gave the dogs a bath yesterday, they usually go to the groomer the day before Thanksgiving but that didn't work out this year and I'm usually already cooking things the day before so I went ahead and got that job done. If I wait too close to Thanksgiving than I probably wouldn't be able to cook because I need recoup time. If I get everything cleaned today then it'll just need a touch up on Wednesday.
We've been taking Dad's supper to him because he's been recouping from his injections plus it's really hard for me to cook and be eating by 5, it's just too early. If I have supper on the table by 5 then he eats and can still drive home before dark. He can't see very well after dark is why.
I'm not sure about supper at all yet.

Good morning!
The sun is shining brightly through my Batt Cave window. In fact I had to pull the shade down, as it is too bright! But bright is good!
Dinner tonight - it is what ever you find to fix for yourself - cook's day off!
Sarah got the basement painted - finished last night. It looks very nice, if you like gray! I am not a gray person, so her choice of color for the carpet, walls and plank flooring is not my style. Thank goodness she lives there and not me! LOL! Ethan's room is done too. Sarah painted one long wall a deep sky navy blue. To this wall she is adding vinyl cutouts of the constellations of the northern hemisphere. It will be a great boy's room when she is done. Her plank flooring is still AWOL - but it is for the upstairs floor and she has the piece needed for the transition between the carpet and the plank flooring. All that is needed is to nail all the baseboards on and in place before the carpet on Tuesday. That is easy for them, as they both worked in a framing shop for pictures and can cut mitered corners in their sleep. Inside and outside miters.
I am in the Batt Cave, waiting for my Relief Society zoom meeting to start and then when that is over, so is church for me. I willl sew more doll clothes today and the rest of the week.
Mary - yeah - Austin is in sight! It will be nice to be settled in for a few weeks.
Tina - I am still debating on when we will do the turkey dinner here - it is only us two, so I can do it whenever.
Take Care - Stay Safe!
Hugs,
Jana

Tina, your sewing room is perfect. I bet you will make lots of pretty quilts in there. I bet you can't wait to get your new longarm going.
Jana, I bet Sarah will be glad when this project is done, but I'm sure she'll move on to something else to do.
She is a busy woman.
Mary, I bet you are glad to stay put for a while. Nice that you finally get to see Autumn.
We didn't have Pizza last night, so maybe tonight. Or I have Teriyaki chicken marinating in the fridge as well. We'll see what I feel like later.
Have a lovely day.

Re: Supper club. Sunday, Nov 22
Hi Everyone,
Since the city cleaned up our front yard so well we decided it was time to spend a few hours in the back yard. I was busy cutting the boysenberry bushes. I think I am only a quarter of the way done. All I did was cut as much as I could. The area needs to be weeded once it is cut down. It is a royal mess in that part of the yard.
Last night we had Chicken Teriyaki. Tonight will be Stuffed Pepper Casserole. I need to make it. I went shopping yesterday so I know I have all of the ingredients. I found a "recipe" for pumpkin pie spice mixture. I mixed it this morning, but I need more cinnamon. That was one reason I did it. It seems that I need to check the amount of spices in my cupboard before the holidays and this was one way to do it. Late this afternoon I will go to get cinnamon. I will wait until the mob leaves the store.
Think I will work on quilting a quilt this afternoon. Last week I was having trouble marking it, but want to try again.
By the way I was in 10th grade and in PE when I heard Kennedy had been shot. Such a tragedy and loss!
Take care everyone!
