SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, Oct 22nd
Good morning!
We're to have a pretty decent day, weather-wise. 52* and sunny. Bill & Al spent yesterday working on the trailer roof an are hopeful to finish or nearly finish that project today. They are working under the solid shelter roof so that's been nice for them. Tina has been arranging and rearranging everything in her trailer like a little girl with a new Barbie Dream House on Christmas morning. Considering they only had about 4 boxes of things they left here from their last visit, it's not a lot of stuff, but she's truly enjoying herself. I'm happy to see it. They will be leaving sometime this morning. I got her pillow covers finished and gave her all her leftover fabric. My sewing room is a disaster now, though, so guess where I'll be today. But I might also have some time to start putting my own embroidered quilt blocks (state birds) together. We'll see. It's time to start getting winter sewing projects organized, too. I can't get into our trailer because the steps are folded up and there is a scaffolding in front of the doorway.
BECCA - you have had some joyous times at your house with more to come! Not to mention some tasty suppers and desserts! I love cherry pie!
LORI - glad you are back with us again! We love soups here but actually consider them, especially broth soups, great for light summer suppers. I've got all the makings for split pea soup and that may be on the menu soon here.
CAROL - I'm so sorry to read about your kitty. What breed/color is she? And what is her name?
JANA - I read your 'rant' and just couldn't believe it! The world is full of idiots and they walk among us. Praying no one in YOUR family gets sick or worse because of the actions of those oh-so-selfish people!
My lasagna last night was soo good, if I do say so myself. I made my sauce from scratch (or nearly so) and let it simmer for 3 hours. and there was enough for leftovers for us and for my sis to take to reheat tonite when they are camped along the Columbia for their first night on their trip home. So no cooking for either of us! There is even leftover salad and garlic/parmesan bread.
What's for supper at your house?

Hi everyone! I'm here! Oh my gosh I've been crazy busy emptying our my sewing room! I bought me a long arm and am over the moon excited about it! I text Mary and Chickie Monday or Tuesday LOL I can't remember cause I'm so excited! We've almost got my sewing room totally emptied and I'm going to paint it so my long arm will have a nice bright freshly cleaned room! I ordered casters for it and a light bar that goes under the top part of the throat and Holly moly they are doing a promo that you get a $600 free standing light for up top! It's a Moxie Handi Quilter! The promo is only in affect till November 9th. I'm like bouncing off the walls! I don't know how much I'll be on here because I have to get the painting done before delivery. The place in Cruces where I shop is a dealer and he comes and sets it up and levels out and makes sure it's running good before he leaves. I wanted to share my great fantastic news with you all!
Carol, I'm sorry about your kitty. It is so hard.
Jana, I read about the delivery and the dad having covid, wow some people huh.
Becca, glad you're feeling better and your DGS is moving way closer.
Prayers for Irish and Cindyg. I gotta run
Tina
Oh ribs are for supper.

Quick drive by - Tina you will love your Handi Quilter! That is the brand I have. There are so many toys to add to it. Christmas is coming- some hints for Frankie - Red Snappers - a must! The wider cloth leader - saves your back when loading a quilt. And the batting hammock- love mine - it keeps my Batt off the floor. As well as bobbins, rulers, and the ruler table extension. Santa shops at Handi quilter for me.
D8nner - leftover Salisbury steaks.
We are still doing fine - no signs of anything. Aaron's family too.
Stay safe
Hugs,
Jana

Mary, thank you for the updates on Cindy ❤❤❤
Jana, I watched a video last night about my machine and know I'll be asking for the side mount thread holder, it's very cool and much needed for my king tut threads.
We're going to Cruces tomorrow, they need me to sign the papers for the order. So while we're there we're making up and hand sanitizer and wipes so we can go into Home Depot to get my trim for my bedroom and my trim paint for my sewing room. I was gonna use a dark grey that Holly had leftover from her gallon but it's really dark and I'd really like a lighter color. We're also dropping off a swing set from my DSIL to Matthew, her grands don't go over anymore so she wants it gone.
Hopefully I can get here tomorrow.
