Good morning!
My sis arrived about noon yesterday and it's been nothing but fun ever since. We got them settled into our trailer and then got caught up on all the news of the past 3 weeks. It was a fairly early night for all of us. 8:45 pm (though it was 9:45 their time). Not sure what the boys will do today. Trailer repair is stopped until our roofing material arrives which is supposed to be next Wed. I think Tina and I will go into Tacoma and look for backing fabric for her 50 embroidered state flowers. I hope to have that project quilted and bound before we leave for TX so I can give it back to her when we meet in Austin for Thanksgiving. It's going to be close. As for my own sewing, I did get my UGRR blocks all together! Yay!! I've got border fabric, but can't measure yet to see how big my borders need to be until after they leave. I had a spare hour so I made a pair of Mickey/Minnie pillowcases for DD#1, Lara, for Christmas. So, other than a couple of quilt labels, I think I've finished what little Christmas sewing I'm planning.
BECCA - I know you are thrilled to have your DGS moving home and that they are stopping to visit you on their way! What town are they moving to? And your housekeeper sounds purrfect! Not everyone is so lucky on the first try! How are you feeling today?
CHICKIE - hello!!! SOO good to see you here! You have been greatly missed! Glad to hear your DH is doing well. But so sorry to hear about your faceplant. Hope all is OK now. Good luck with your mamms. How is Covid? You always give yourself such a long list of Christmas sewing! Are you doing anything for the adult girls this year?
I need to get busy here. I think Yankee Dip sandwiches on the grill and salad will be our supper tonite!
And you?

Good morning!
Came to visit with y'all, while enjoying my waffle.
Aaron was by last night with a fun video of him. He was at his yearly driving training out at the training track not far from us. Do you remember the old TV show, The Rockford Files? In that show, the PI Rockford would do a stunt turn, driving in reverse at a fast speed, then flipping the wheel to to turn around, a 180 turn, dropping the transmission in to forward and then drive off. We always called those turns, a Rockford. Well, Aaron was taught how to do those turns yesterday and was he ever having fun! That was the videos he brought over. The trainer told him not to be shy with the speed and go for it. Yes he did! My hair is getting grayer !
Not much here today. Great in cooking one very large batch of soup and putting away 6 more meals, eating one meal from it last night, one tonight. Cook once, eat 8 times! A good thing! Ethan was here too, munching down soup.
So a lazy day around here, a few uglies and sewing.
Stay Safe
Hugs,
Jana
