October is halfway through! Can't believe time. Sometimes it drags and sometimes it flies.
Yesterday I got my UGRR almost finished. It should be a done deal today. We also got a lot of yard cleaned up from the storm the other day. We were ready to power down by 3pm, built a campfire, and relaxed for 1-1/2 hrs. Today will be busy. I hope to finish up the UGRR, though I may not get a border on it yet. Then laundry, Costco/grocery shopping, and a few other errands. DH has an appt for a physical at 0900 so I'll be quilting and laundrying until he comes home. My sister and DBIL will be arriving around 4pm~ish so we'll be ready for them with a couple of margaritas and a homemade pizza around a campfire. I'm not sure they have dates set in stone, but I think they will be here about a week. They will pick up their trailer on Monday so will be staying in ours until then with one overnight at their son's house. He lives near Seattle, an hour from here.
BECCA - I'm sure you are taking it easy! Hope today is a better day for BOTH of you! Yes, the floss works well for hair. I even used it on a small doll once.
JANA - Big doin's in your bedroom today!! I hope you only have one night with the tarp! Yes, 80 through WY is our usual route when going back and forth to CO. 70 to 15 adds way too many miles and way too much elevation, though we've all done it occasionally. WY winds can be a real bear to deal with, especially coming west.
TINA - sorry - wish you'd spoken up earlier. WE sent our rain east to Idaho! Bet those photos are sure cute. How could they not be?!? Husbands seem to lose their enthusiasm for projects about halfway through. Sigh. And here, chickens ARE pets!

Well, I already gave away my menu for tonite - homemade pepperoni pizza. And a salad. I can make it earlier in the day and have it ready to pop into the oven tonite.
What's your supper going to be?
