Hope everyone's weekend is going well. I got quite a bit done yesterday - cleaned my laundry room, mopped floor, did 4 loads of wash, vac'd living room, worked on my UGRR, and then became Bill's lovely assistant up on the scaffolding as he was working on the trailer roof. He has all the damaged part removed and cleaned up and is now starting to do the actual repairs. There was a 3" gouge in the fiberglass on the front end cap and then a 15-ft gash in the rubber roof. Our trailer is 13-feet tall so it's a bit of a climb to get up on the scaffolding and then climb a few more steps on top of a ladder set on the scaffolding! I'm so not a height person but I just had to forget where I was and do my job. Arghhh!! We have more roofing material and a new drip rail (RV gutter) on the way so hoping Fed Ex gets their ponies saddled up soon!
Today - more uglies, more sewing.
TINA - happy belated birthday to Preston! I can't believe he is already 5 yrs old. Seems like he was just born! So good to hear your puppies are doing better. But did they ever decide what was causing the itching? Yes, we felt the $15,000 was "a tad pricey", too. But they probably figured they'd be getting that from our insurance company and so inflated it. Fooled them! I'm sure Bill will be able to do it just fine. He's pretty handy plus he researches everything to death, watches videos, talks to other RVers, etc.
JANA - I love antique tractors. They can be addictive! We know a guy who has, at last count, about 75 - more than many tractor shows have! And we know another fellow who also has a lot of them as well as some other old vehicles, all parked in a long row with an old school bus at the end. His wife complained whenever he bought another so he got to simply moving the bus at the end and she never noticed he was slipping more rigs into the line-up! So now, when we buy something (like more fabric

BECCA - new clothes! For free! My favorite price! Lucky you! Glad your family got to see Yellowstone. Is everyone OK? I saw that a 3-yr-old child slipped away from her parents and fell into a 'thermal feature' and was badly burned. I immediately thought of your DGS's family, figuring they were there about that time and prayed it wasn't one of his little ones. Wish I had a little sheep fleece to send you but I don't. How big is your sheep going to be?
CAROL - thanks for being a good sport! Mary (with a 'z').
Tonight I think I'll brown some pork chops and then put them into the crockpot with some potatoes, onions, and mushrooms. Will be nice to have our meal all ready to go come suppertime!
