Re: Christmas Swap of 2020
Getting through what I call the tedious steps. 192 2 x 2 blocks cut, line drawn on back and almost done sewing them onto the red triangles. Ran out of bobbin so taking a breaks. Dad need his bath, clothes changed, room cleaned and disinfected. DH is now shaving him. Now he want hamburger and fries for lunch.
The rest of the block is strip pieced. Should go pretty quickly. Happy sewing everyone!

WOW I am blown away, although I know I shouldn't be by the talent of all your designs. The appliques have so much character and Valerie, I always love the fabrics you choose for your blocks and quilts. This one is beautiful

I had my evaluation for PT. Have a ways to go and start next Tuesday and Thursdays for the next two weeks. I have made progress in small amounts over the last 1.5 months. I did cut out some 5 blocks and learned how to move and not to. I have help cutting out pieces so that I can do the stitching. Leaning over is something I need to be careful doing. I have my calendar printed out as to how many blocks I need to have finished by a certain date so that will keep me on track. Plus I have my Hallmark Christmas in July Movies to keep me going

Thank you for sharing such joy and hopes. Talk soon. I will post when I have the first one finished.

Re: Christmas Swap of 2020
Good morning to each of you. There are a number of things I need to work on today, one of which is to get signed up for my Medicare before September. My plans are to get more of my blocks sewn up today, and see if I can get a picture loaded and posted. I don't know why I struggle so much with getting things transferred to the computer. You would think once I figured it out once it would be easy to do it again, but my brain seems to block it out (LOL). Everyone has made such gorgeous blocks so far.

Okay, let's see if this worked.

Hi MaryRose
I made myself a note card telling me what to do and also wrote the name postimage.org on a piece of scotchtape and stuck it to the top of the laptop so I wouldn't have to go searching for it. Sure was a timesaver.

Thanks Teresa...I made a notecard and put it in with my QIAD addresses, but somehow I neglected to put a step in. Also, loading photos from my phone or camera to my desktop is my biggest challenge. I did manage to get it done though, just took some time.

My blocks are coming along, half done...I haven't posted a picture, mainly because this dummy doesn't know how to do pictures....But, my block is fairly simple, kind of a star pattern with Santa in the middle.....From seeing the other pictures, all your blocks are super......

I have one block done but not real happy with it. Will redo. The pieces of the other blocks are put together, just have to sew the blocks together. Should be done by end of week. Maybe Sunday since that is the day I am by myself with Dad.
