We're going to be 64* and cloudy today. Not too bad. Rain is forecast for the weekend, but we'll be east of the mountains by then, camping, and it's usually warmer and drier over their.

Yesterday I got one quilt top quilted with a fast freehand meander. Hope to do another one today. I also cleaned and rearranged our deck furniture and made a double batch of peanut butter cookies for the trailer freezer. Today I think I'll make pizza dough and pre-bake the crusts so we can put them on the grill while camping. Also, there are plenty of UGH-lies to choose from. I wanted to take my sewing machine in for a good cleaning and servicing while we were gone, but there is a long waiting list. They say they will call me with an appointment time to drop machine off, curbside. Then it's another 3 weeks that they will have it. Rats! Good thing I have a good back-up machine!
JANA - glad you got the first step behind you. Now to just stay home and out of trouble for a few days until the big test. Can you do that?? We've been through Rexburg. A neat little town. There is a Rexburg in PA, too. My ancestors have a family cemetery there and in 1997 we found it and and a motherload of graves of my forebears.
IRISH - if Kathy hasn't discovered it yet, another cool place in Idaho is Craters of the Moon - a volcanic area, with a very cool campground among all the volcanic formations. A scenic drive with short, paved walks, and little critters. Back at the beginning for the space program, astronauts used to train there, I've been told. And has she ever explored the Washington Wine country? Walla Walla in SE WA has wonderful reds but their prices reflect their pride in them. We tend more toward Prosser, Zillah, and Yakima Valley. Much more affordable and just as good.
BECCA - Happy Birthday to your Marty! glad CA got his blood work all done. Like you, we try to get errands all done at the same time. Though we don't have many. Mostly just chiropractic appts and picking up our mail once or twice a week. As for grocery shopping, we've been to Costco twice and Safeway once in the last 3 months. I've been to drug store and LQS each one time. Bill has hit hardware store about 4 times. And we were both at the car dealership once. And that's everything we've done since beginning of March. I can't wait to go camping!
LORI - have a safe flight! We'll miss you!
I made an Italian casserole last night of chicken, pasta, and marinara sauce, topped with mozz and parm cheese. There's plenty for tonite, too, along with the usual salad.
What sounds tantalizing to you tonite?
