Even though the completion deadline was extended, I went ahead and finished my blocks. I wanted to have them finished before returning to work. Now I can get them in the mail after I get some priority mail envelopes and my return postage together.

High five MaryRose! I'm so glad you're staying in at home and staying safe! I'll like HD again because right now they are treating you right ❤
I just wanted to check in and say I'm still here 😊 I really appreciate the extension Mary Q ❤

I appreciate the extension and could still use a few weeks more. My sewing machine has been putting out masks and scrub caps as fast as it will sew. The scrub caps were a request from my daughter-in-law that morphed into being required attire for all the nurses at the local hospital. I've turned into my mother with her donation sewing, for sure!!! I've also been making masks as fast as I can. Who knew "shelter in place" could be so busy! I can't imagine being bored or having nothing to do during this time. Hope everyone is staying well! We had a major scare early in the ordeal with my daughter's brother-in-law contracting it and everyone in quarantine for two weeks while he was in the hospital on a ventilator. Thankfully, Dan is one of the survivor statistics, but it was sure touch-and-go for too long!

Just checking. Have you decided on a final date for the UGRR blocks? I know I am behind because my asthma has been acting up and just not felt like sewing (sorry). When you set a date let me know so I can get my act together for everything. Think this staying in is starting to get to all of us.

Thanks and hope you have a good day.

Mary posted the new date on her original post on the first page. It is toward the end of June. I believe she said the blocks need to be in her hands by June 21st, but check to be sure.

I ordered some padded flat rate priority envelopes yesterday. Once they arrive my blocks will be on their way soon after.
