SUPPER CLUB - Happy Easter Sunday!
Good morning!
Is it me, or did QIAD change its font to itty bitty print? I know I had to cancel my eye appt and I need new glasses, but suddenly it's harder for me to read. Which is why I was experimenting yesterday with different size font in the field above my post that says "Normal".
Yesterday went about as planned - walk, sew, yard. Only I surprised myself by throwing in a couple loads of laundry. Today, I think will be more of the same. I suppose we could get in the car and go for a ride . . . Since it's Easter and all . . . And I see our favorite TV show, Live PD, is back!! Though, of course, filming at their homes and not in the studio. We tape it so we have that to watch tonite. But my sis in CO was watching it last night and texted to say our little town of Gig Harbor made it to Crime of the Week - I guess a robbery at the Target. We've made the big time!
TINA - good to see you join us! But bummed about your dad. From all you said I wonder if Kevin is right and he's getting confused on his meds and taking too much . . .Keep us posted! I hope you find your ham steak in the freezer.
JANA - you really have some special heirlooms! The oldest things I own are the one or two of my own wedding gifts that survived our fire. They will soon be fifty years old, so I guess they almost qualify as heirlooms!
BECCA - the baking gene runs deep in your family and even extends to your friends' families!
We do have a small ham in the freezer, but we also have a cooked chicken breast in the fridge. I think we'll leave the ham for another day and I'll shred the chicken and put it in pasta with alfredo sauce. I think we'll have cooked carrots on the side, along with a sliced tomato, the last of our fresh produce. I might bake something, too. Maybe a lemon pie . .? . .
What's your Easter Supper going to be? Even if it's Cheerios, it's still Easter and He is still risen!

Supper here will be fried taters and eggs.
Thank you for the encouragement for Kenny Joe to make the move easily and to settle in at Jarred's.
Tina hope Dr.'s will find and fix dad's situation quickly. Hugs and prayers for strength and better health.
Christ Has Risen, Hallelujah...Everyone have a blessed Easter.

Happy Easter!
Yes, He is risen, Helives, and He directs all things!
We are piecing tonight for dinner. I will save the ham dinner until the oven is repaired. Hopefully tomorrow.
I finished all the masks needed for Aaron and the UHP. Now just sewing for our Ward members. Mailing off a few for Daniel and Kari, and a couple for Kari's parents too. UPS prepaid, just drop and run.
Not much new in our now old routine. We getting ready with the coverings, masks for the kitchen cabinets, lol, so when the tech comes, it will be easy, I hope, to disinfect the area he will be in.
I got to talk to my little ones yesterday through the window. Matt's family came and hid treats at Ethan's and at Gracie and Lila's houses yesterday. Sarah took pictures and the kids were very creative in hiding all the eggs. Matt's kids loved doing this for their cousins. They all miss each other very much.
On Tuesday will be our little Lila's 2nd birthday. Kate is baking her a cake and when all this is over, we will have a BIG family party.
Stay safe!
Hugs,
Jana

Happy Easter!
We had Ham and Scalloped Potatoes and Green Beans for dinner this evening. I made Banana Nut Bread for dessert.
This afternoon I worked on masks and talked to family. My brother told me his son and girlfriend had a seven pound ham. My nephew wasn’t sure what to do with it. Lol. We had a 1.72 pound ham. I love ham, but seven pounds is too much. My brother did tell him to freeze it and make soup.
