Today is my LDH#2, Roy's, birthday. He passed away right after his 45th birthday (on my brother's birthday

IRISH - I am so excited for you!! I'm sure your Jim is guiding you all the way. You are starting a whole new chapter and you get to write it all yourself! Sounds like you have a lot of good help, too. So, will you be closer to Terry and Kevin? I hope all goes well with the inspection. And you will have normal again one day soon. But it's going to be a new normal - one without basement stairs!
TINA - I think using that pick-up service for shopping is an EXCELLENT idea, especially with this latest health scare and you are responsible for little ones. I never think of that, but since WA seems to be a hotspot for this virus, perhhaps I'll start doing that, too. . .
BECCA - your post yesterday about saute'd kale made me chuckle. I saw a FB funny that said, "If you add coconut oil when saute'ing kale it makes it easier to slide into the garbage." I had to send that to my 84 year old codger of a brother who is trying to teach himself to cook and who hates most veggies.
We are having a couple in about 4pm just for a glass of wine and some cheese & crackers. So after they leave supper will be soup - again. But a different kind! I have a container of veggie beef soup in the freezer I can thaw and heat on the wood stove. I'm so lucky to have a hubby that loves soups of all kinds.
What might you be having tonite for your supper?
