Ok I have 1 set done plus the 4 patch to match. But mine measure 7.75 inches, not 8. So not being able to figure out the reason (checked cutting measurements, seam width, etc. I relooked at the video, lo and behold, it says to square to 7.5 inches. So I think this is 7 inches finished. Can't find my original pattern.

I am going to do my best to get some of these done this weekend. If I do I will get them in the mail next week.

I have the cutting done for 1 more. Remembered someone sent me some scraps a bit ago and there is some strips there I can use. I will likely get to 4 sets. Then gotta get back to my kites for the swap and a baby quilt for new little one.
Have a great day! Valerie

Happy Valentine's day to you all. Hope you had a sweet day.

WONDERFUL Valerie!!! Love the fabric and your block looks fabulous!!
Don't know what seam allowance you used. I used a scant 1/4"
Please don't forget to NOT Square them up. To many stitches come undone in the process of finding a new home. Thanks so much :)

THANK YOU Also to the Pal that sent Valerie some scraps. That was so very sweet of you :)

If anyone has any suggestions as to how to bring in more Pals or new Pals, I am open to hearing and doing.

TERESA - happy belated anniversary to you and Rob. Were you able to get out and do something fun to celebrate?

Teresa, not sure how to get more sign ups. Time and postage costs are a big factor. I haven't even started my Feb lotto blocks yet. but do plan to get something done this weekend. And it seems the numbers here are dwindling a bit. It's hard to get a full swap. Hope it turns around.

Val, great blocks,

I to do not know how to get more sign ups. I agree that the cost of postage is likely a factor. If you use the packaging free from the postal service it is expensive to mail. The smaller padded manilla envelopes are not cheap but less to mail. Plus we all have our lives to live and our own sewing to complete. It's nice to have a challenge of lotto but I haven't time for the more difficult blocks.

Teresa I am using the same scant 1/4 inch I always use. My blocks are all squarable to the 7 1/2 inches per the video. I have no idea how you are getting 8 inch blocks. If mine are too small I will keep and do something else with them.
Have a great day! Valerie
