SWING INTO SPRING! New Swap!!
After taking a break for the Holidays we are back in the Swap Business! Break out of those winter doldrums with a little spring sewing! Let's SWING INTO SPRING!! Pieced or appliqued blocks work for me but not machine embroidery. Also, any size block is OK. We got a lot of positive feedback on varying sized blocks with Tina's Christmas in July swap, so let's try it again. Backgrounds can be anything light - white, cream, ivory and can be solid, TOT, or even have teensy, tiny print. Anything that says Spring to you!
April showers, pretty flowers, baby lambs, Easter hams, budding trees, buzzing bees, singing birds, new calf herds, sunny days, squalking jays, floppy bonnet with a ribbon on it. The choices are endless and it's yours to make!
Now the business end of things:
*If you sign up, you are committed.
*Please check each block for size, not matter what size you choose.
*Label your blocks any way you wish but don't use pokey pins
*Please check in on this thread at least every week with a progress report.
*Do not square your blocks. Leave that for recipients to do.
*Put your blocks in a waterproof bag. Ziplocks are great!
*Do not be late mailing.
*Don't forget to include $8.40 for shipping blocks back to you. I have padded return envelopes.
*If you wish to sign up for a second set, terrific! But only after everyone has had a chance to sign up for their first set.
Sign-ups are open from now through midnight, Sunday, January 19th. You have until MY BIRTHDAY, MARCH 23 to get them to me. If you don't have my address, PM, text, call, or e-mail. I'm always around! But make sure it's my mailing address you have (Pt. Fosdick Dr) and not my home address (46th Ave).
I'm sure I forgot something so feel free to ask questions because if you want to know something, I'm sure others do, too!
Ready, Set, SEW!

Re: SWING INTO SPRING! New Swap!!
Val, spring is often breezy in our part of the country. People love getting out in the early season sunshine to fly kites! So I say Fly with your idea! 🌬 So are you saying to sign you up or are you just thinking “out loud” at this point?
