We have light rain this morning. Helps with the mud wallow that is our back yard, where all the trucks and equipment have been driving on the grass. It's not actually lawn but field grass that we keep mowed. But now - you'd never know grass had ever been there! Bill is bringing in a load of crushed rock, I think. I have been resistant because I think it will look UGLY, and the mower will throw rocks later in the summer. But even I admit we have to do something.
Thank you all for your comments on my Scrappy Star. I looked on line and the pattern is available. One place is at the quilting company - quiltingcompany.com. While it looks kind of complicated, it actually was an easy pattern and a great scrap user-upper.
JANA - well, wasn't that a game! Congrats! Can't believe we lost with seconds to play and only by inches! Your team played a scoche better than my team and much as I hate to admit it, SF deserved the win!

BECCA - hope the TV thing is working for you. And our yard is now as good as it gets in winter. I saw my daffodils and bluebells are up! About 3"!
LORI - sometimes I enjoy yard work, too. But here it's mostly fighting to keep the woods at bay. We don't have a flowerbed & lawn kind of yard. I'm trying to make the yard more easy care so I'm letting the woods reclaim some areas I've tried to keep clean and kind of "outlining" those areas with 2-man rocks. Anything behind the rocks, the woods can have. In front of the rocks I will keep up the fight.
IRISH - you are so right! My neighbor laughs because any yard work done at their house is done by HER! Not her landscaping hubby!

I have some boiled potatoes in the fridge so I think we might have a scramble tonite. I have bacon bits, but also kielbasa and eggs, onions and peppers, that all need to be used up. What's sounding good to you?
