Well, no matter what your thermometer is saying, your calendar is shouting fall! We are 40* this morning. That's only 1* from the 30's, which is only 8* from freezing. If I wait much longer I won't need to do my fall yard clean-up!
Yesterday was mostly cooking and cleaning the kitchen. I baked 4 dozen cookies and cut them out in the shapes of wine bottles and glasses. Then at the store I found purple frosting! So I frosted bottles with "labels" and foil caps. Glasses were 'filled with wine". Then I made my pumpkin pie. We got the grocery shopping done and got our flu shots. I swear, those needles are so tiny, I never even feel them go in. When we got home, I had a little time to play in my sewing room, mostly cleaning. Bob & Betsy showed up at 4pm and it was all about good friends after that. Today is finishing packing the fridge and buttoning up the trailer before we hit the road. It's only 57 miles to our campground and a very pretty drive.
TINA - sounds like you really needed that outing in nature, the relaxation, and the music, not to mention the sleep. Hope your day yesterday was peaceful, too, and it continues all week long! We don't have wild turkeys in Western WA but I've seen them when traveling. In fact, where we've seen the most of them was when camped in a county park in Julian, CA not far from Eleanor's log home. Turkeys were all over the campground, all day long. That was MY first time seeing them!
BECCA - I'm leaving the under sink cabinet un-clean, just for you! lol! And if it helps any, I've done hardly any yard work. Those guilt feelings work both ways, you know! My sister in law, who spends 10 months of the year in Vegas living with her dd since my brother's passing, told us that she was told by neighbors that a bear with triplet cubs has been seen on their property. Since so much clearning has been done around us, we're only seeing bunnies, squirrels, and raccoons these days near our house.

JANA - Milk is always the determining factor of when we go shopping. We buy it at Costco. Everything else we can live without for a few days, but we need milk for the Cheerios. Did you get any snow over the weekend?
I'm not in charge of supper tonite but I think Betsy has a pan of chicken enchiladas in her trailer fridge for tonight. We've had her enchiladas before and they are MMMmmmm good! Turkey last night was good, too, so we have sandwich makings for the trip.
Not sure if I'll have internet and even if I do, I don't know if Bill is taking the computers. So it might be just my phone. I'll stop in when I can, but please, go ahead without me! THE BAN IS LIFTED! Someone let poor Chickie know!
