Rail Fence Quilt

Want to use some of my stash for a 60 x 78" rail fence quilt, using four 2 1/2" rails. How much yardage do I need for each of the four colors.

2 1/2 x ? To calculate the yardage you need to know the cut length and the cut width of the strips.
