I guess I am in that group too, ladies. I came up with a different number, several times. Finally got to what I thought was the right number, but had DGD count again, to be safe(er) Probably wouldn't hurt for Chriss to count again on mine!

Yeah, I agree, Chriss please count mine, I am pretty sure I had extras, but since I made two sets, I want to be sure. I counted them 4 or 5 times and got a different number each time. I will make more if I didn't have enough.

I will count this weekend. I have quilt group on Saturday morning and have one more set ready to sew into 4 patches, I will also count mine too

It does seem like a lot of blocks because they aren't being sewn into 12 inch blocks Im really glad we did it this way so we could have more variety and sew them together in our own way.

I really like this block.

I kept getting different counts, too. But I kept recounting them until I came up with the right number twice in a row. Plus, I did them while camped with Cindy for 3 days and she ironed and counted, too. But, I appreciate any recounting because I've STILL been known to make mistakes! Often!

And Chriss, even though it makes for a lot of counting, I'm glad, too, that you had us send in the blocks like we are doing. You are right = so many options to arrange them. It's going to be fun!

I spent time this morning counting blocks and checking block size. Here are my findings so far.

Becky, you sent two sets and not one block is the same as the other, you must have a sewing room full of scraps. my gosh, with two sets that makes 136 different 6 1/2 inch blocks. amazing.

Vinae, you also had two sets, your blocks were perfect as well. you sent 136 swappable blocks plus you sent three extra sets ( 12 blocks) I read your note and I will gratefully keep the 12 blocks, thank you very much.

Maryz, your blocks were great, the count came out perfectly, thank you for the extra few dollars to help with postage.

Sue, your blocks were perfect as well.

Maryrose, You sent 20 sets rather than 17 sets, you will be getting 12 of your 6 1/2 inch blocks back with your swapped blocks.
